MissTigerLover: LucyXLoke

Lucy: W-What

Loke: Hello there beautifuls

MissTigerLover: Hey (blushes)

Loke: Let me guess, Lucy and I are having a date

MissTigerLover: Nope death

Loke: Huh?

A simple farewell could lead into a life with regret. A life in regret without seeing anyone, losing someone so important to them. Darkness is what fills an empty heart but while there is darkness, there is a light that guides forward. Yet a light is what someone seeks for but never succeeds. This was Lok's life before he met Lucy.

Lucy was his light. The person who filled every guideline that needed to be filled. She had her own special way she treated spirits, something that separated her from any other owner he had. In simpler terms, it was her way how she gain trust from her celestial spirits. She treated them, him, like any other human instead of a tool for power. She would smile at them, and encourage them to reach their full potential. That was his light. A light so warm and comforting.

Farewell

Then all the sudden, the lights shut off unexpectedly. As if a thunderstorm came crashing in, causing a total only difference was, eventually the light would come back on, in this case, it didn't. They trusted her and now she was gone.

"Lucy!" They shed tears for her. Never in their life have they felt the need for the same master. She was different from the others. She never thought as them as pets, she thought as them as regular human beings. But now...she left

Farewell

Loke could still hear her words lurking around his head so can her other celestial spirits.

"Damn...it I told her she didn't have the power to complete the mission." Natsu proclaimed cursing at himself for his stupidity.

"Its wasn't you to blame Natsu….it was our fault for not being strong enough to protect her. We had a contract and broke it." Loke said trying to hold his tears. A man never cries. Why did she have to smile at them when they didn't deserve it. They let her down. She lost her light. She shouldn't have taken the mission in the first place but Loke had faith in her.

"Lucy...please wake up...you can't just leave saying farewell. Lucy...our contract is still here. you can't expect us to be free. Please." All the celestial spirits lined up while Loke gripped Lucy's hands tightly. "Natsu...tell me she is sleeping." Natsu stood quiet. He couldn't accept the truth either. "Tell me she is going to wake up any time now and be her usual self!" Leo yelled "How are we going to move on? We need her! We can't go with someone else. It is not the same without Lucy! Nothing is the same!"

" is special, no one can be like her." Taurus says, choking on tears.

"If this is punishment please take it back!" Virgo cried

"She doesn't deserve this!"

"Sorry I wasn't any help to you Lucy!" Aries yells

"We were gladly give all our power to save you!"

"Shut up." Natsu yelled. "Do you think Lucy were be able to live with herself, knowing her friends sacrificed their life for hers?." They all stood quiet. "Lucy was happy. She smiled as she died happy. She is gone. She doesn't want anyone to cry for her sake." Yet Natsu couldn't hold his tears. His words were true but his body said another thing. Loke in the other hand wasn't happy as all. His bangs were covering his sadness, guiltful eyes. He could remember so well the last moments of Lucy.

Farewell

"We could this mission right Loke? I know my celestial spirits could protect me. I trust them." Loke bowed down at the nervous blonde figure.

"I will protect you with my life." He kissed her hand, lifting her up in the air. Not knowing this was his last time to see her blushing face. The reaction he very much enjoyed

"L-Loke." Her pupils widen as she continues to fall. Natsu ran in but he was too late. He made it just in time to see his partner in crime die right in front of his eyes. Loke caught her before she fell.

"Loke." She coughed up blood. "Please don't look at me like that... I'm sorry I wont be able to continue to go to more adventures with you guys." She coughed up more blood.

"Don't speak." She shook her head. "This is the last time I will be able to talk to you…" She put her hands gently across his cheek and kissed him. His eyes widen. He never expected the contact of her lips to be brushing against his.

"Mooo Miss. Lucy where is mine!" Taurus yelled making Lucy laughed. The last laugh they will ever see.

"That might have to wait...sorry." Lucy chuckled painfully and looked up to see Loke's bangs cover up. He kissed her back, tears spilling out.

"Farewell." The words he hated the most.

"Lucy..you're not leaving!" Loke yelled She closed her eyes and her eyes never opened.

Farewell

Loke clenched his fists. That guy who took her from them was going to pay, he promised would do anything in his power to ensure she would be in true peace.

"I will kill him" He yelled, blinded with rage and venege

Natsu on the other hand put his hand on his shoulder and shook his head. He had a different view about this. His whole body was yelling at him to join Loke in this revenge path of his, but he took Lucy's feelings in perspective. He didn't think Lucy would want them to go through this path. In some sense, Loke himself understood.

"I just-I can't live with the thought that the bastard could get away with this." Loke pushed his hair out of his face frustrated.

"Even so, I think Lucy would want us to get through this, without violence." It took everything of Natsu to say that. Lucy was his best friend, his partner in crime, and it killed him that he couldn't come in time to protect her. All he could do is remember the times they would stay up at night, talking about who she liked, her future plans, how Happy would look great in a burger costume. He chuckled just thinking about those moments.

And he found it funny how easily Lucy was taken away from him. He knew Lucy's feelings for Loke all this time. Hell, Lucy would not shut up about it. And it legit destroys him that the time she manages to confess her feelings was her last moments in this world. All because of that bastard.

So yes, revenge could have been Loke and Natsu's option but that wouldn't bring back the light they have lost. They both have to accept what happen and they know Lucy would be watching over them through every step in the way.

Farewell

Loke stood in front of the crowd of people, his king, his fellow spirits. "I loved her.' He confessed, bowing his head. "And if you permit me to serve another master, I will do everything in my power, under Lucy's honor, to protect them."

"And why should we believe you? When you couldn't protect your first master." The celestial king spoke, silencing everyone.

'Because." He looked up. "Lucy would want it.'

Tiger: I think that is a nice way to end this

Natsu: Lucy died! How cruel can you be?! *angry*

Tiger; I'm sorry! I'm a writer! It isn't my job to be nice T w t

Lucy: Huh? Loke

Loke:*in the corner* Lucy kissed me...I love you Tiger

Tiger: *blushes* Well *flips hair* I'M GLAD SOMEONE LIKES IT

Happy: They likeeeee each other

Loke; Is there going to be a sequel?

Tiger: About that, I'm not sure. Im leaning towards just keeping it as a oneshot. Let me know how you guys feel about that.
