"Thank you" I smiled at the woman behind the desk, taking from her a key.

Oh, I might have forgotten to tell you, but I'm going to Harvard.

Anyways, I headed up to my dorm, I immediately noticed that about half of the students here were blonde.

No, I'm not saying blondes are stupid, I am a blonde, that fact just popped out at me.

As I reached my room-104-I noticed that the door was already open. I figured my new roommate had already arrived until I saw it.

With dark brown hair and vivid green eyes, she somehow she made her uniform look stunning, and I didn't think there was a uniform.

Is there?

I don't know! Why didn't I ask? Am I not supposed to expect anything and everything? Am I not a daughter of Athena?

Never mind. You wouldn't understand.

Anyways, I suppose you're wondering what I meant by 'it'?

Empusa. (A/N Did I spell that right?)

As I walked through the door she turned, hissing.

"You were not who I was expecting, daughter of Athena" she said.

"Who was it then," I sneered (surprising myself, I have to say) "a harmless mortal?"

She laughed "I thought you of all people would have figured it out by now" she giggled "I was looking for your room-"

She got a surprised look on her face as a sword sliced her through her middle. She disintegrated into yellow powder, revealing a girl that could be my identical twin, like most of the blonde girls here. "You found me" she snorted

Then she looked up at my alarmed face and her eyes softened "So you're my new roommate." It didn't really sound like a question.

I blinked and nodded "I guess"

She sighed "Well, there's something I need to tell you..."

"Annabeth"

"There's something I need to tell you Annabeth, you know about the Greek gods?"

"Of course!" I paused, "Where is this going?" I thought I knew, but I wanted to be sure.

"Well," She took a deep breath "See, they're-"

"Real?" I said "I know that. I've known that ever since I was seven. I go to camp half-blood"

She looked kind of shocked "daughter of...?"

"Athena. You too?"

"Yes"

"That's what she was talking about! Most of the kids here are children of Athena. I can't believe I didn't see that before!"

"I can't believe that I didn't see that you were a demigod! What was I thinking?"

"You were probably too busy with killing monsters."

"Yeah, I guess...but still!"

"Drop it."

"Okay."
