Mokuba: Good...

Maya: Before I was intrrupted by an annoying little brother. This poem may get you a little teary, but it's aboutYami' queen, who ever that is,losing her child before a battle came in. I hope you'll like it.

"A Life Saved"

A night as cold as a southeren wind
coming from the north
A vision of a bloodly war coming near,
soon.
She looks at me with eyes that had
captured stars from the night sky.
Her soul doesn't know the danger
that lies within.
My heart stinks deep in my soul
while rain comes from my eyes.

A war coming sooner, closer, faster.
Making my heart beat faster than
Shadow's.
Thinking of an answer, looking down
at her cloud face.
Makes my heart reconsider decisions,
but make me wonder the future more.
She might be princess one day.

A thought came again, 'Why? Why
her? Why now?'
That word kept coming and buzzing
my head, 'Why?'
The battle coming closer and solutions
trying to come quicker,
but nothing came.

All the lights points to her and I, so
my decision is made.
Sacrifice me to save her heart and
soul.

The only decision running thoughts
around in circles.
Nothing more came, but him, my lord
My father to her, and a prince of Egypt,
Wondering why tears came down on
his light.
I asked for Shaadi hand of need and
faith.

Nightfall came quickly her bundled in
my arms so close to my heart.
Wind knock sand up to her eyes,
Shielding her with my life, just to see
her smile brightening my light.
Prince and friend came to witness her
departing,
Separtration from me and her life here
forever.
The word came back, that awful word.
"Why"
I, giving Prince to see her face once more
to see her laugh again, making him...
Smile.

Having no time to waste, giving Shaadi
time to go forever with her.
I wish to reconsider my thought
but can not, for I made it final.
Her life with him will keep her safe
until the sand show her back to me.

Tears came again
this time, staying for good
until she is out of site and save
from danger.
Giving her to Shaadi, and tips to keep her
well.
Warning him about the questions in the
future about parnets,
"Never tell" I warned"not until she'll be ready."
He nodded and holding her close to keep
wind and sand out of her face.

Everything ready to go, but not my heart
just kept wishing for her back.
Seeing him ride away with her as Prince
stand frim and strong.
I started to run, but he grabbed me and
stopping me as nothing will go wrong.
But my heart had different idea's
not seeing her for, Ra know's when?
The tears kept coming down as rain
my face in this cape.

Everything Darken without her.
Everyday afterwards nothing with right...
for me.
I kept thinking of the day I see her face
again and the words she had learn,
but I knew my heart couldn't
take the pain and suffering
of losing her by my side,
but as strong as I am, I vowed to keep
wishing every day
until the day she'll return
and thanking me,
for her life had been safed, by love,
forever.
