"You still got Mr. Mickey then?" The doctor stared down at Rose after glancing back towards the others.

"There's five of us now, mum, dad, Mickey, and the baby." There was a flash of happiness in Rose's eyes, and a small smile to occupancy it. Through all this sadness, he still got to see her smile one last time, even if it was small. He felt almost happy for a second too, until he realized what she said.

"You're not…?" Fear and sorrow coursed through him, showing so profoundly on his features. He realized it could very well be his; they've done it plenty of times. But if it was his, his baby, he would never see it. He could never see it grow up, smile, laugh, live.

"I am, three months gone, now." A sad smile crossed her face as she looked down at the floor

"Mickey?" He asked acting daftly; he knew very well the answer.

"Yours" Her voiced cracked, tears starting to run down her face. "I'm sorry Doctor."

"No, no, Rose look at me." He reached his hand out to bring her face up, but it was no use. His fingers ran through her skin, but she looked up anyways recognizing the gesture. "I'm going to get to you, even if I have to burn up a thousand suns. Nothing in any universe can stop me, nothing."

"They'll collapse- the universes would collapse." Rose choked out through tears, she knew that there was such a slim chance she'd ever see him again.

"So?" He mimicked her, they both smiled.

"I… I love you." Rose began saying her goodbyes again, there had to be barley a minute left now and he'd disappear soon.

"This isn't our goodbye Rose, I promise. I'm going to see you again, I'm going to hold you again." He sounded so confident but in reality he wasn't. He couldn't promise anything, not something like this.

"How can you promise that?" She looked up at him while he bent down to see her face more clearly.

"Because, Rose Tyler, I…" He disappeared. "Love you." He whispered the two words into the air of the TARDIS, two tears slipping down his face.

He walked over and sat down on the bench running his hands through his hair, his face still wet.

He had a child. A child with Rose. A child he'll never see. A child who will never have a father. All he had was the knowledge of his existence, or her. He didn't even know the sex of the child, he didn't know anything.

He didn't know if he could keep his promise to Rose.

But he needed to; he wanted so badly to rip apart those universes if it meant he got to be with her. He wanted to do it the moment he saw her but now he had even more of a reason.

Suddenly there was a noise from outside.

He opened the TARDIS door and stared out into a space with millions of floating darleks, a void ship and cybermen- the void.

And just like that the puzzle pieces clicked in. The void ship ripped through one universe it can rip through another. And he'll do exactly as he did last time. He'll close it as soon as he gets Rose to safety.

Like that, he started to put his plan into action.
