Scary Story: Final Draft

"No, don't you dare go into that closet," said my friend. "Now look, you have died because of that."

The movie finished, so we turned it. "What kind of "scary" movie was that? It was WAY too easy to predict." She shook her head. "It was a dumb movie to start with a bad ending."

The movie we did watch was dumb indeed but, it could happen. Anyway, the name's Rin and my friend here is Celest. I'm a burnet with an anime shirt on. My friend is also a burnet but with a Team Edward shirt. Yes she is a Twilight fan.

We were talking about the movie, and we heard a loud crash coming from the kitchen. "What was that?" we both said at the same time.

Celest grabbed a hold of me; she was shaking, a lot. "Just calm down, it might just be mice." I tried to calm her down, but nothing seemed to work.

"W-wait, did you just say might?" she asked in confusion. Then the lights flickered on and off, and finally off. "The powers out, what are we going to do?"

"First let me get a flashlight." I walk around to find two flashlights sitting on a counter. "Found them, here you go." I toss one of the flashlights to Celest; she caught it and turned it on. I did the same with mine.

"What's next on the list?" Celest said.

I point to the closet, "No going in there of course," I said with a little giggle. "Besides there is no point in going in the closet, we just need to go into the kitchen."

"Let's stick together because on the movie they split up and all but one died in it," said Celest a little scared.

We walked to the door. "Well, here goes nothing," I open the door and we saw glass on the ground, the fridge wide open, and a guy getting food from the fridge.

Celest had her mouth wide open but nothing came out. So I walked up to it and Celest said in a low whisper "Rin, what're you doing, get out of there."

I was already at the guy and karate chopped his head. I heard ouch come from the guy. Turned out to my father, who I had hit, he was dressed in black including his hair.

"Woops, sorry dad did not see that it was you," I said in a slight giggle. "I thought you were a monster or something."

He laughed, "Why would you think that? Well it was dark so maybe I can see why. I wonder why the power went out."

"Did you pay the power bill?" asked Celest.

"Yea, but still, it's weird nothing happened outside," my father said.

"Let's check the basement to see the breaker," I said with a little smile of being proud of myself.

They agreed, and thus onto the basement. The stairs creaked under our feet. We find a small light bulb hanging from the ceiling. I pull the string and the light turns on.

We see a young person in the corner; he had brown hair and a black robe. I notice who it was and asked "Jace what're you doing down here?"

"Trying to scare you, guess that didn't work. Anyway…" he turns the lights back on. "Here we go, they're back on now."

"Want to watch the movie, even though it was dumb to the very end," Celest said.

"Why not," Jace said. Jace is about a few years younger than me and is not really great with scary movies.

It was time for the closet part and Celest just rolled her eyes. And Jace was like, don't go into that closet, and what not.

Jace got scared when he saw the ghost man, and peed his pants. We laughed so hard until we had to go to sleep.
