AN: This is my first fic ever, I'd love reviews, particularly constructive criticism. Thank you.
Out of everything he gained from the portal accident and even with all the downsides that came with those ghost powers, which admittingly were quite numerous, from lack of sleep and plummeting grades, most of which due to the ghosts coming through the portal at all hours, the ability to fly made it all worth it. What kid, teen, or even adult did not dream at least once in their lives to fly, to soar in the air without any physical support whatsoever?
To feel the wind in one's face, to defy gravity with some supernatural power. When he was younger he loved the times his family visited a theme park, which usually happened in the summer, he loved the roller coasters and looked forward to them every trip. Now he was his own thrill ride, even better really, as he was not bound to some preset track. In truth, most of his time not spent at school, fighting ghosts, sleeping, or with friends was spent in the air, either in relaxation or in thrills, looping and diving through the air with not a care in the world.
Truly flight was something impossible to tire from, the very idea one could grow bored with such a thing was more absurd than the box ghost giving up his boxes and catchphrase. Or perhaps Vlad giving internet dating a try for that matter. He smiled at that though, the day something like that happened was the day he stopped flying for fun, as he was now, spiraling and looping through Amity's downtown district, waving at the occasional surprised worker through the windows as he flew past. The night had fallen long ago, leaving stars behind in its coming. He looked up at them as he flew below the shining dots in the sky, recognizing what constellations were visible through the city's lights, grinning at the familiar patterns, some of which were on posters in his room. He was diving past the town hall when is thoughts were shattered by the sight of a clock, or rather the time, five minutes past ten. He sighed, the night's flight at an end. Oh well, there was always tomorrow.
