I don't own Ed, Edd, & Eddy, it was just one of my favorite shows growing up and now this has become one of my favorite ships... Yay, for ruining my childhood by slashing everything!

anyway, so here, have KevEdd

Double-Dee stared in shock, blue-green eyes glazed as he tried to process what was happening.

Kevin smirked, leaning his arm against the stand, the bill in his hand unmistakably reading $50. "Well?"

-Edd's POV-

It was Valentine's Day, but to Edd it was yet just another holiday that had been corrupted by consumeristic ideals. Meaning he tended to opt out of it's the mock popularity contest-like antics.
That was until a sniffling, doe-eyed Nazz had shown up on his doorstep. He remembered her saying something about a booth for charity and that she'd woken up with a cold, but mostly she'd been blowing her nose and mumbling.

He hadn't any recollections of having asked or agreed to take the blond's place, but he'd somehow found himself there nonetheless.

It had turned out to be another one of Eddy's countless scams, rather than charity as he'd been led to believe, and the only thing that kept him from retreating back to his house, was Eddy's threat to rearrange the labels in his room. That Edd had decided would be worse than going along with his friend's most likely doomed plan, so now he was sitting behind a Pepto pink kissing booth.

Eddy had walked away, having only tossed him the parting comment that he could pack everything up at 3.

And so Edd sat and waited, thankful for his tan sweater which kept him warm despite the frigid February air. His face flushing when anyone even so much as glanced his direction. This was going to be a long day, he could feel it.

By a little after half passed two, still no one had come to the booth, the desolate sight of the glass jar was getting quite depressing.
With a weighted sigh Edd leaned over, still on the stool, and reached to pull out the milk crate of empty water bottles.

However before he could, he heard someone clear their throat, causing him to jump and smack his head. "Ouch!"

"Jeez Double-Dork, take it easy." The voice was full of amusement, barely holding back a chuckle.

Edd needn't look to know who had spoken, but he straightened regardless.

Smirking at him from across the booth was Kevin Barr, leaning casually on the booth. He was in an orange t-shirt and black skinny jeans, a deep blue hoodie, sleeves pushed up to his elbows to cut the chill. The redhead's hair was hidden under a backwards baseball cap, that Edd had never seen him without.

Their hats were probably one of the few things that hadn't changed about either boy over the years.
Last year when they'd begun high school, Kevin had seemed to go from having endlessly made Edd and his friends' lives a nightmare, to well, actually acting like a decent human... At least to Edd.

Blue-green eyes met forest green, and instantly Edd flushed the same color as the booth. Flusteredly, he tried to look anywhere but at the teen's face... Which was when he saw the unmistakable fifty dollar bill, held nonchalantly between Kevin's fingers.

Okay, so I sorta hit a block... but at least we're to when the picture happens...

I'm gonna write the next part from Kevin's POV, and hopefully I'll post it by tomorrow.
