Hello everyone and welcome to my first fic. Now I actually posted this story a year ago. When I'd gotten around rereading this story, I had noticed there were many mistakes and it could've been written better. Description was lacking, tense was switching a lot, and well, yeah, so I'd decided to rewrite it. There probably would still be some flaws in this, so feel free to PM me if you spot some, but please be nice and specific.

Now this story is based on the Creepy Pasta, "Lost Silver". It would be written in First Person POV in the Johto Pokémon Trainer's (Male) Perspective, because I wanted to capture his reactions on the events, which are happening in this story. The hidden part is also included in the story; also if you read to the very end, you would see something, which was NOT in the Creepy Pasta.

Disclaimer: I do NOT own Pokémon or the Creepy Pasta "Lost Silver".

WARNING: This story contains gore. I also added some strong language in it to add more personality in this fic. Also, I bumped the rating up to M. It should've been M rated to begin with.

Enjoy the Fic.

Lost Silver

~By TriforceNinja~

I woke up in a place which seemed familiar to me, but I couldn't remember the name of it. I was in an empty room, which had no doors or windows. I could only see a tall beam, which was in the center of the area. I didn't know how I awakened here or what my objective was. I couldn't even remember who I was.

I looked beside me and found a backpack, which I assumed was mine. I checked through it and pulled out an ID card. I looked at it and I can only see a picture of a boy, who had dark hair, brown eyes, wearing a yellow and black baseball cap, red sweater and yellow shorts. The kid in the photo happened to be me. I also found labels of brief information, which somewhat described who I was. When I looked at the text, which said "Name" on it, I saw mud right beside it. It was already dry, so I tried to wash it out by licking my finger and use it to wipe it off. However, when I cleaned off the dirt, my name was smudged. I couldn't read it, so I put my ID back in my bag with disappointment.

'Who was I?'

I checked what else was inside my backpack and all I could find was one Pokéball and a Pokégear. Five Unown came right in front of me and they positioned themselves to form a word. "L-E-A-V-E" was what they'd spelt, noting that I shouldn't be here. I needed to get out of this place, but there were no doors or windows in this room. I check my Pokégear to see where I was, but it seemed to be busted.

I started to pace and looked around the place. Behind the beam, there was a ladder, which I assume would take me to a lower level. I noticed it was very dark down there, so I checked what Pokémon I had, before I continued. I threw my Pokéball and a Cyndaquil came out of it. It looked very weak and injured, so I returned it back to its Pokéball before I climb down. For some odd reason, I had nicknamed it Hurry, because I needed to hurry up and out of this place.

Without hesitation, I climbed down the ladder until I had reached the bottom. This room I was currently in was pitch black, so I took Hurry out of its Pokéball and commanded it to use flash. The Cyndaquil did what it was told to do as it's back sparked with flames, making the room brighter. The colour of this room is blood shot red and it looks creepy. Since Hurry was in a poor condition, I decided to carry him. There was only one direction I can go, which was south, so I went though the only hallway I could find. As I am proceeding through, the hallway was getting dimmer every second. Hurry seemed to be weaker, losing its strength to hold its flash. The hallway only led me to a dead end and the only thing that I saw was a sign post.

"Turn back now" was what it read, but I don't understand what it meant.

A voice, which came out of nowhere, hissed the same words, which were on the sign post, but I refuse to listen. The tone repeated the same words as its tone raised a little, however, I still said declined its offer. The voice had gotten louder as it said the same words repeatedly, but I had never given in. After refusing all of its demands, the voice didn't come back. However, Hurry was no longer in my arms. I had no idea what had happened to him. Six, red eyed Unown came into the room and formed two words.

"TOO BAD" was what they'd spelt, which made me get the idea that I had made the wrong decision. Maybe I should have turned back instead of arguing with that voice. I'd lost Hurry, the only Pokémon I had, and I don't like the looks of the Unown, who are flouting by me.

For some reason, I started to walk backwards through the hallway, which I just came from. I don't know why I'm doing the moonwalk or why I'm not walking normally, but my body seemed to be defying me, so I was force to walk like this. As I kept walking back, I was turning into a shadow. I had return to the room, which had the ladder in it, and noticed that there was a staircase, which wasn't there before. I moonwalk in that direction and went down the stairs, which led me to another hallway. Six, red eyed Unown were coming down from where I came from started to form a word

"R-E-L-I-V-E" was what they spelt, but what was I supposed to relive. My life? My past? I don't quite understand, so I kept walking backwards for some odd reason. This area was like a maze. I'd found so many dead ends and split hallways and I just want to get out of here. Suddenly I had fallen down in a hole without noticing it, because I was walking backwards against my will.

After that inconvenience, I had found myself on a top of a mountain. There is a person standing right in front of me, who happened to look a lot like me. It was like looking into a mirror. After a few seconds, he disappears before my very eyes. Wait, what eyes? For some odd reason, I had just noticed that I don't have any eyes, but I can still see.

'This was getting weird by the moment.'

I noticed that there was a female Typhlosion, who was standing beside me. Like me, she had no eyes, but she was also paralyzed. She looked liked my first Pokémon. I'd noticed that she was wearing a collar and the name on the tag said, "PLEASE!"

'Is that what I'd called my first Pokémon?' I thought to myself.

I don't exactly remember that I had nicknamed my Pokémon before. I don't even know why I would name it, "Please". It seemed like an odd name to give to a Pokémon, or anyone as a matter of fact. I looked at the Typhlosion and noticed that it was currently carrying an egg. I didn't even know that she was giving birth. I had never seen her with another Typhlosion before, so how could she have laid an egg? Right now, that was not important. I just need to figure out where I was and why am I here. I also need to know who I was, and why was everything going weird.

I was walking down the mountain and Please was following me slowly. Four, red eyed X Unown appeared behind us. Two of them attack Please with "Hidden Power" and split her in half. The egg she was carrying flew into my arms after she got attacked. I looked down at Please, seeing that her bottom part was severed from her top, bleeding away, but she was still holding on. However, I don't believe I would be able to get her to a Pokémon center in time. Even if I did make it, they wouldn't be able to save her. I watched in horror as the other two Unown attacked Please. They used their "Hidden Power" to finish her off, killing her in an instant. I was horrified, sad and pissed that those Unown had killed her. I would have cried in this situation, but I don't have any eyes.

'If only I did something to help her.'

Four more red eyed Unown came out of nowhere and form the word "DENY". At this point, I would deny the fact that Please had died. I just wish there was another way I can save her, but what else was there to deny? Why am I being followed by Unown? What do they want with me?

I continued to walk down the mountain, until I came to a cave. I went through it, wondering where it would lead me and hoping that it would get me somewhere off this peak. As I explored the cave, the egg I was currently holding was starting to hatch. A Cyndaquil came out of it and it looked normal. It had its squinted eyes, which made it look ordinary, but I couldn't say the same to his mother. I continued to travel through the cave, along with my new companion, to see if I could find an exit. Once we got close to one, Cyndaquil was thrashing about. I don't know why it was doing that, but I didn't want it to waist its energy. I used a Pokéball on it, so it could get some rest. It wouldn't do if he'd wasted all of its energy.

Once I'd got to the exit, I walked out of the cave and came across a boy, who was about my age. Like me, he had no eyes. He also had long red hair and he was wearing black. He was next to a Feraligatr, which was facing the opposite direction from me. I came up to the other trainer so I can talk to him, but he turns his back on me.

'What's his problem?'

The Feraligatr turned around to face me. It also had no eyes, but the other weird part was its Pokémon cry. It sounded like it was saying "Where" like it was asking me a question, but how could a Pokémon talk like that? It suddenly attacked me with "Water Gun" and I guess it wanted to have a battle. I let Cyndaquil out of its Pokéball, so it could fight of this Feraligatr. I ordered it to use trash, but it looked at me like it was confused. Once again, I had asked it to use thrash, but nothing happened. It seemed that my Cyndaquil had forgotten that move. The only other attack it had was nightmare, but it would not do any affect against Feraligatr while it was awake. I searched my backpack and found a bottle of powder with no label on it. I don't remember where I got it or how it got into my bag, but I was wondering if it would come in handy with my battle. I took the bottle out of my bag and used the powder on Feraligatr. It fell asleep after I'd done that. I was guessing I'd used some kind of sleeping power, which made it doze off like that. Now that I had a chance, I ordered Cyndaquil to use nightmare to finish off my opponent. The Feraligatr got affected by the attack and then it fainted. Before it was knocked out, I saw it turn into a Totodile, the Pokémon that my rival started off with. It was like its evolution had decreased.

'How was that possible?'

I took another glance at the trainer again and notice that he looked a lot like my rival, who was named Silver.

'Maybe he is Silver'

He turned to me with a blank expression and the only word that escaped his lips was "Even…"

I don't understand what he meant by that.

'Was he saying that we're both even?'

He'd disappeared in front of me, just like the boy, who looked exactly like me. I don't understand why they would vanish like that. It seemed abnormal.

Cyndaquil was badly hurt after the battle with Feraligatr, even though Feraligatr didn't lay an attack on it. It must have been weakened, while it had used nightmare. I know for sure that Cyndaquil needed to go to the Pokémon Center, but before I travel even further, I returned Cyndaquil back in its Pokéball, so it could rest. I looked around to see if there was another way to get out of this place, but there wasn't. The only way I can get out of this dead end was through the cave, where I just got out of. I walk towards it until I was suddenly snatched up by a Pidgeot. I was scared and struggled to break free from the Pidgeot's grasp, but it was too strong to let me go. It took me to a random city, which was somewhat convenient, until I saw four, red eyed Unown flouting towards me. They positioned themselves to spell the word "HELP".

"Who am I suppose to help?" I yelled at them with anger. "The only person I know, who needs help right now is me! I need the help I could get to get me out of this fucking nightmare!"

The fear and confusion within me had morphed into anger. I had enough of whatever the hell was going on! I want my eyes back and other people and Pokémon should have eyes as well! I don't want to see any more red eyed Unown! They creep the fuck out of me! I don't want to be trapped in a world where I have no other choice! I assume this was a nightmare of some sort. None of this would've happened in real life, but if this were to be a dream, wouldn't I have woken up already? Was this really happening in real life or am I in hell?

I look around the town and saw a lot of familiar looking people, who are eyeless like I was. I saw a Pokémon center on my left, which seemed convenient, so I went there to heal my Cyndaquil. Unfortunately it was locked, so I wouldn't be able to heal my Pokémon. I tried to leave this town, but was some kind of force, which was preventing me in doing so. I sigh in frustration, hating the fact that nothing was going my way.

I turned around to look at the town and noticed that each person has a red eyed Unown by them. An idea cooked in my mind, thinking that I could use those Unown to spell out something, before leaving this town. I walked around and talked with every person I could find, who had an Unown following them. The people who I talked with did look familiar. Some of them were the professors, who would give me my first Pokémon and the information for starting my Pokémon journey. The rest of them were past gym leaders, whom I'd fought with to receive a badge. They didn't respond when I tried talking to them. Whenever I tried to start a small conversation with them, the Unown, who were following them, took them away with their "Hidden Power". The last person I talked with was the person, who looked a lot like the previous Pokémon Champion, Lance. Like everyone else, he was taken away by the Unown who was following him. I sighed, because I had no idea what to do next, so I kept wondering around the town.

After a couple seconds, the four Unown, which spelt "HELP" earlier, surrounded me. They used their "Hidden Power" to teleport me to another dimension, which resemble the town I was in before. Everything here was purple, especially the sky. I looked around the area and saw the people, whom I'd tried to talk to earlier. I'd noticed that they were currently as white as a ghost, compared to what I saw them earlier. I looked at myself to see if I had gotten paler, but I seemed to have remained the same. The people, whom I talked with earlier, were all lined up in two separate rows. There was a gap in between both lines and everyone was facing towards it. It was like they were making a path to make way for the king. Each person still had an Unown with them, whom were currently flouting above their heads. Each Unown had their own letter and they were all facing my direction.

'Are they trying to tell me something?'

I was thinking that maybe the Unown were spelling out a message for me, but what could this message be? I walked between the two lines of people and look left and right to read each Unown. The letters I had seen was "W-H-O-A-R-E-Y-O-U-K-I-D" and I had noticed that the word they had spelt couldn't be one word. Once I'd got to the end of the path, I had started to break that huge word piece by piece to see what message I had received.

"WHO ARE YOU KID" was what they'd spelt, which made a lot more sense compared to "WHOAREYOUKID".

That was the exact question I was trying to figure out myself, because I can't remember what my name was. All I knew was that I am a Pokémon Trainer. I knew who these other people were before, but what was the reason I couldn't remember my own name.

The Unown, who were with the familiar appearances of professors and Gym Leaders, flouted their way towards me. They surrounded me and used their "Hidden Power" to teleport me out of this dimension. They took me somewhere outside of the town, which I was trying to leave, and left me there. A boy, who looked about my age, stands in front of me. He was as white as a ghost, just like the people in that odd dimension. I didn't remember seeing him there, but he did look strangely familiar. He turned around and headed towards a tower, which was right before us. I tried to follow him, but I was suddenly attack by a few red eyed X Unown. As I got hit by their "Hidden Power", my ID card fell out of my backpack. I managed to catch it before it hit the ground and when I looked at it, I noticed my name was not smudged. It was clear to read. I read the name on it and it said, "Gold".

'My name is Gold?'

I kept repeating the name in my head, wondering if it rang a bell, but then I was suddenly attacked by X Unown, whom attacked me earlier. I fall face first on the ground, after they had used their "Hidden Power" and I dropped my ID card along the way, which fell directly into the mud. I picked it up, while I struggled to get back on my feet. The mud smudged my name on the ID, so I carefully wiped it off, so I would be able to see my name, Gold.

I then rushed my way to the tower where that boy, whom I bump into lately, was heading to. I wanted to get away from the Unown, so I sprinted to get there. Once I had entered the tower, I heard a voice calling out to me.

"SAVE YO…" was what it said, but I didn't hear the rest of the message.

'What was he trying to say?' I thought to myself. 'Was it "Save you" or "Save yourself"?'

I walked into a room which has a hole in the center of the floor. Before I entered the room, the voice from before yelled, "GO AWAY…"

It must be a warning of some sort and I decided to take the voice's word. I turn around to leave this place; however, I was suddenly attacked by five, red eyed Unown. There was one X, one A, one V, and two Es. They hit me with their "Hidden Power" and I fell straight into the hole. I kept falling until I finally crashed on a certain level. I landed hard on my back, which could've knocked me unconscious, but I'd managed to stay conscious. I struggled to get back up on my feat, after the cruel landing and looked around the room. Then I'd noticed that this was the same place I woke up in the first place. I blinked a few times and after each blink, I just realised that had my eyes back. I felt a relief that I had them back, but I still don't understand to why I didn't have them before?

A few minutes later, five Unown flouted into the room and they formed the word, "LEAVE".

'LEAVE?' I thought to myself. 'That was the same word that started this nightmare!'

I was getting a weird feeling of déjà vu. This was when I called my Cyndaquil, Hurry and just like last time, I found myself climbing down the same ladder to get me the hell out of that place. Once I had reached the bottom of the ladder, I was now in the pitch black area. I took Hurry out of its' Pokéball and command it to use flash. It did what it was told and used its energy to light up the area. The light spread through the blood shot red walls which make it easier to see. I picked up Hurry, because of its condition and went through the only hallway, which was in the room. I kept on walking until I had gotten to the area, which had the sign post.

"Turn back now" was what it read and then I heard the same voice from before. Once again, it whispered the sentence, which was on the board. Last time I was hear, I refused to listen to the voice, but saying "no" didn't get me anywhere the last time.

'I wonder what would happen if I choose to listen?'

I looked around the room, like I was searching for the voice, and yelled, "Fine!"

I turned to the direction where I just came from and walked towards it, but when I was about to leave, Hurry suddenly fainted in my arms. The room was now pitch black and I couldn't see a thing. "

Please Hurry, don't leave me now!" I cried. "Don't leave me now!"

I didn't get any respond from it. I kept calling out for it, but it still didn't move a single muscle. Every time I cried out, tears peaked from my eyes and poured down my face and yet, I still didn't get a respond from Cyndaquil.

'Please, you can't die!'

A few minutes later, I had given up, and I had never gotten a respond from Cyndaquil. I was drenched in tears in this dark place, but I knew I shouldn't be sitting here moping all day. I needed to find a way to get out of this place. I kept walking down the dark hallway, wondering where I was going, until I had found a light at the end of the hall. I walked towards it and saw six Unown spelling two words.

"HE DIED" was what they spelt, but I chose to deny it.

"No, he can't be dead!" I snapped as tears poured down on my face. "He was the closest memory I had to my first Pokémon!"

They had never left my sight and they where still showing me that dreadful message. I walked out to the lighter area and found myself in the graveyard. I saw a tombstone in front of me, which had Hurry's name on it, and there was a small hole in front of it.

'I can't believe this is happening.'

While I was crying, I was about to drop Hurry in the hole, but I refuse to let him go. I didn't believe he was already dead. I refused to accept the fact that he was gone, but once again, I had let my stubbornness get the best of me again. The Unown, which spelt "HE DIED" attacked me with their "Hidden Power" and sever my arms off. Hurry, along with my arms, fell into the hole and the Unown buried them up. I couldn't hold back the tears, which had flown down to my cheeks as I watched the whole scene. There was blood spilling from the areas, where my arms use to be and I began to cry louder. I glared at the Unown with intense hatred, and shouted, "Are you happy now? You killed off Please, you killed off Hurry, you had put me through a lot of bullshit and now you took away my arms! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT WITH ME?!"

Suddenly, I began to sink through the ground. The Unown must be behind this, because they are the reason why strange things were happening.

'God, I wish I was out of this hell!'

As I completely sunk through the ground, I had landed roughly into another dimension. I crashed hard enough, so that my legs literally broken off from my body. My eyeballs also popped out of my head, leaving me with bloody tears. My blood was flowing out of my body from where my limbs used to be. I suddenly was becoming paler by the second until I was as white as a ghost, just like the professors, gym leaders and Lance from the other dimension. I wasn't dead yet, but I seemed to be on the brink of becoming that.

The place I was currently in was blood shot red. There were two hallways in this area, which were across from me. I looked to the left and saw a shiny pink Celebi slowly coming from the left hall. I only saw the right side of it and it looked sad. Celebi looked at me with its green eye and turn to face me. When it glanced towards me, I noticed that its left side was missing. It was like me, severed, broken, sad, and nearly on the brink of death. I struggled my way to get closer to Celebi, while it was slowly moving closer towards me. Once it had got to me, it slowly climbed on my back and rested itself on top of me. I would love to pet it with a caring hand, but I don't have the hands for that.

Five Unown came flouting towards us and formed the word, "DYING". For once, I understand them, because Celebi and I were both in a critical state and we would possibly die at any moment. I looked towards the right hallway and I started to inch worm my way over there, along with Celebi, who was on my back. While I kept making my way through the hall, I noticed that there were some people, who were as white as a ghost, lined up against the wall. They were staring at me blankly and they didn't move a muscle. I tried to ask them for help as my life bleeds away, but they would not respond. Seeing that it was hopeless to get help from them, I kept on inch worming along the hallway until I had reached the end.

I looked around the corner and saw that familiar boy, whom I followed to the tower. He was more ghost-like when I last saw him and I didn't just mean by his skin tone. He was almost transparent, but I could see the shape of his body. He then looked at me and challenged me to a battle, without giving me a choice. He sent out a Pikachu, which looked so sad, which made me feel bad about battling it. Celebi climbed off my back and came into the battlefield to challenge Pikachu. Pikachu used "Curse", which had lowered its speed and raised its strength and defence.

'How could a Pikachu use a move like "Curse?' I thought to myself, because it seemed abnormal for a Pikachu to learn that move.

Celebi used its "Perish Song" which gave it and its opponent three turns to live. Pikachu used the move "Frail" at Celebi giving it a little bit of damage. Celebi played its "Perish Song" again, but it failed, because "Perish Song" was already played. Pikachu then used its frustration on Celebi, which did a lot of damage that it could just faint already. I'm guessing its relationship with its trainer wasn't very strong, because its "Frustration" was very powerful.

'Did its trainer abuse it or something? Judging by the look at it, it looks very sad.'

Celebi used its "Pain Spilt" which tapped Pikachu's health and healed itself, until their health rate was even.

On the last and final round, Pikachu used "Mean Look", which was another unusual move for it to have, so Celebi can't escape.

'Why does Pikachu have these unusual moves?'

On Celebi last turn and final turn, it used its "Perish Song" once again and that was it. It died on its final turn. Before Pikachu could perish, it used its "Destiny Bond", which was another unusual move for a Pikachu, on me. Just like Celebi, Pikachu had passed away. I looked up at the trainer, whom I had face, and watched in horror as I saw his head getting removed from his body. Suddenly, I felt like his pain was affecting me because Pikachu used its "Destiny Bond" on me. The pain had strained me so hard that I eventually passed out.

When I woke up, I was in my room in New Bark Town. Everything in here seemed to look normal, harmless and safe.

'Was that whole experience I had only a dream?'

No, it wasn't. I was currently a floating ghost head with no body. When I cry, I shed out bloody tears. They rolled down from my eyes and down at the side of my cheeks. Suddenly, six, red eyed Unown came flouting into my room and spelled out another message.

"NO MORE" was what they read, telling me that I am no longer living. In this case, I had to except the fact that I'm now dead. I flouted down stairs to the main floor and scanned the area. I looked on top of a bookshelf, which was close to the stairs, and looked at a picture. It was a photo of me on my tenth birthday. I was holding my Cyndaquil, Please, with a happy smile, and my mom was standing beside me with her arm around my back. We were all happy and it was one of the best days I had ever had, but now I was sad and miserable. I scanned the room again and noticed that mom wasn't around, which made me sadder. I cried some more, because I want to see her face at least one last time. She was probably looking for me, while I was away or maybe she knew about my death and was at my funeral, if she planned one.

I had gotten out of my house, without opening the door, and noticed there was nothing but darkness. I was about to re-enter my home, but then I looked through the darkness saw a light. I floated over to that direction, wondering if it would take me somewhere. Once I had entered the lighter area, I saw a boy, who happened to look exactly like me, standing in the middle with his back facing me. He looked solid, painless and normal.

'How I envy him.'

He actually was me, a healthy, solid version of me, before this nightmare had started. He turned to look at me and he gave me a blank expression.

"Goodbye forever…" was what he said, before he disappeared into thin air.

Suddenly I was attacked by the move "Nightmare" which suffocated me and ended me for good. Before I completely disappear, I saw images about my body being buried into a graveyard. I had my very own tombstone, which read. "R.I.P. Pokémon Trainer Gold" so I would be remembered. Then I saw an image about six Unown. They were forming up a message with two words and it read, "IM DEAD".

That was my current state, so I let myself drift into the darkness of a never-ending sleep.

"…ke… p…"

"…ake… up…"

"Ethan… wake… up…"

When I thought I was gone for good, I heard I feminine voice, crying for someone to wake up. She sounded very close, too close to be exact. It was like she was hovering over my body.

'Wait, Ethan? That name actually does ring a bell.'

I knew I had heard that name before. Without giving it any thought, I peeked open my eyes and saw a girl, who was about my age, staring down at me. She had brown hair, which was tied into low pigtails, brown eyes to match her hair, wearing a white hat, with a red ribbon tied around it. She smiled at me and gave me a hug.

"I am so glad that you finally woke up, Ethan." she said.

I looked at her in confusion, thinking that I'd known her from somewhere, but couldn't put my finger on it. She called me Ethan and I wondered if that was actually my real name. After giving it some thought, the name "Ethan" seemed to have rang a bell than "Gold" did, so that was possibly my real name. The girl pulled away from me and looked at me with gentle, but concerned eyes.

"After you went to Mt. Silver to challenge Red, you had fallen into a coma and we had to travel there to take you to the hospital."

My mind jumped when she mentioned the name, Red. He was that boy, who was in my dream, who lured me to the tower, battled me without a choice and lost his head in the end. He was also known as the Pokémon Champion, but I also remembered defeating him. I turned to look at the girl, whom just hugged me and realised that she was my childhood friend, Lyra. I started to look at myself and noticed that I had casts around my body, but I didn't have any severed limbs. I looked up at Lyra and asked her, "How long had I been out for?"

"Six months." she replied. "We were very worried that you weren't going to make it."

I started to relax and then I asked her, "Did mom come to visit, while I was still asleep?"

She nodded her head.

"She had visited you everyday and I believe she would be here any moment."

We'd talked for a good ten minutes, until I saw a middle age woman, with shoulder length brown hair, walking into my room. She happened to be my mother. She looked at me with her brown eyes with wonder, almost like she was surprised.

"E-Ethan…?" she said in a soft yet wondering tone.

"M-mother…?" I too was looking at her longingly, unsure if I was dreaming or if this was real.

She gave me a warm smile as walked up to me and gave me a hug. Her touch felt real enough, so I can't be dreaming, but I should've said the same thing when Lyra was hugging me. Mother pulled away from me and gave me a worried look.

"You had me worried. You should be very careful while you are on your Pokémon journey…"

I managed to give her a warm smile. She would always worry about her only son.

"Your Pokémon are at the Pokémon Center right now." Lyra said. "We took them there after we had taken you to the hospital."

"Th-thank you…" I replied in a soft tone. "Would I be able to see them soon?"

"Yes you would, but according to your doctor, you still need some rest in the hospital." Mother said. "They'll give you a couple more days before you are ready to leave."

"B-but I-I am-" I tried to lift my upper body to sit upright, but I had crashed back on the mattress of the hospital bed.

"You still need rest, sweetie." Mother replied. "You may be awake now, but the doctor said you still need some time to recover."

I frowned as I relaxed my muscles and stared at mother. She started to pull the bed sheets up to my chest and calmly said, "I am going to go now, but I will drop by to visit you tomorrow. Please have a good rest, sweetie."

She kisses me on the forehead and then she left the room.

"Well, I guess I should be going now." said Lyra. "I'll let you rest, but I'll come back to visit you for sure."

I nod my head in reply as I watch her walk out of the room. When everyone was gone, I began to wonder if I should let myself sleep. That dream I lately was awful and disturbing. It almost felt real, too real as a matter of fact, or maybe I was just exaggerating. I would love to leave this hospital, but apparently, I still needed some time to recover, according to my doctor, whom my mother mentioned. If mother said that I needed rest, maybe I should listen to her. After all, the dream I had was only a nightmare, so it shouldn't have been real. I let myself doze into a deep sleep, hoping that I would dream happy and not have another nightmare. I just wanted some time to recover, instead of going though another hellish dimension.

THE END

(A/N:

So, that was my rewritten version of my first fic. Like I said, I had added more description to it, added more personality, fixed my tense up a bit and changed the ending a bit. Yeah I know, some of you might go "WTF?" on this ending, (Actually, there were a lot of "WTF?!" parts in this fic) but I was trying to send a message to why Gold's name was now renamed Ethan. "Lost Silver" was a Creepy Pasta, which was telling us that the 8-bit generation was dying, ever since the remade versions of Pokémon Gold and Silver were released. In Heart Gold and Soul Silver, the trainer's name was now Ethan. A lot of you people refer to him as Gold in the 8-bit versions, but since that generation was dying, the name Gold was also getting erased. So, basically what I'm saying was 'Gold' was now dead and 'Ethan' was what he was now called. I'm not that great at explaining things, but that is what I had to say about Gold's death.

Question: Which name did you prefer? Gold or Ethan?

To be honest, I don't exactly care what his name was, so I'm find with either or.

I hoped you liked this story. Feel free to review and say what your opinion was. No hate please. Constructive criticism is welcome, because it helps me become a better writer. I'm pretty sure that there are some flaws that need fixing. Anyway, thank you for reading this fic. Bye~!
