If you should see our Eden
The old testament of the Terran bible describes Eden as a beautiful unmarred paradise where large trees with glossy leaves the size of one's head grow fruit so delicious that one must feel as though the flesh of said fruit is not intended for mere mortals but for G-d's lips only and rivers which contain no pollutants and a world where all, man or beast get along and live in peace.
I have seen Eden, I am here now. It is much different from the one described by Genesis. It lacks the trees described except for a few in the botany lab. Eden is not green with lakes and rivers, It is metallic and somewhat cold but still beautiful. Jim explained to me that this 'Nexus' creates it's visitors paradise. Ours is her, The USS ENTERPRISE, before the re-fit. Not much is different here except we share a bulkhead here, when in life we were too shy. Here in Jim's arms, on The Enterprise, inside the Nexus. As many sailors from earth's days of old would agree with me about, Paradise is a tall ship and a star to sail her by. You may disagree now, and mutter something about paradise being about being away from technology but if you should see our Eden you'd agree it is paradise, At least for Jim and I.
