You sit in a hospital room, you were visiting your friend Ivan in Moscow. The hospital room is a light blue, a rather surprising choice
considering it was a Russian hospital. You noticed a couple of doctors outside your room, they were speaking Russian but you could tell
they were nervous. You had contracted pneumonia while visiting Ivan, your body wasn't quite used to the cold so you dressed like it was
summer. Well, it was summer, but Russian summers are still cold, unlike American summers. The doctors were trying very hard to make sure
you survived, they knew Ivan would hurt them if they didn't. You hear a knock at your door and immediately spring up and glance at the
door. " [Name]? May I come in da?" You heard Ivan say. "Da Ivan you may always come in!" You said with a bright smile lighting your face.
Ivan walks into the room, sits down on your bed, and gently grabs your hand. "[Name], you look more sad than usual. What's wrong
sunflower?" You blush a little and smile. "Nothing Ivan! Hey it sure is pret-" You get cut off by a huge coughing fit. When its finally over,
you clutch your stomach and groan. You see a look of worry and concern flash if Ivan's eyes. He hates seeing you cough like this, he
knows the chances of you making it through this were slim, but he held onto hope and tried to remain as happy and hopeful as possible for
[Name]'s sake. [Name] remained oblivious and constantly optimistic. You are certain you will survive this. Ivan stayed by your side, you
kept having coughing fits, each one slightly worse than the one before. He was getting really worried now, he tried pleading with the
doctors to see if they're was anything else they could do to help [Name]. The doctors said there was nothing they could do and walked
away. Ivan desperately had to fight the tears that formed in his eyes. "Ivan?" [Name] called. "Da little sunflower?" Ivan replied calmly. "I'm
gonna take a nap. Will you be here when I wake up?" Ivan knew what "taking a nap" was. It meant you were gonna die now. "Da. You
sleep. I'll be here when you wake." He replied, a tear forming. [Name] quietly fell asleep and her breathing slowly decreased and eventually
stopped. Ivan couldn't hold back the tears, and held you close, crying softly into your chest. And now Ivan will never forget that
cold...summer...day...
