She was running, running as faster as she could, when she stopped abruptly; the girl raised her head and there he was, the boy who hurted her once, and another once over again... Draco Malfoy.

She didn't know what to do, he is the reason why she was running that fast, the reason why she had moved from her natal place, changed her name and abandoned her life. She turned around, prepared to run back again, even faster than before, but he talked.

- Don't, don't do it. I'm not here to hurt you, not again- he told.

- Not again? Funny, right? Because, i've heard you said that like, hummm... A million times before-, she was tired of his games, and she wasn't going to played them again.

- I'm serious, and I swear this will be the last time you see me. Just, please listen to me-, he begged.

That disconcerted the girl, Draco Malfoy was begging? She wasn't sure if he was acting, but he seemed very afflicted.

- Just a quick talk-, she accepted.

- Would you please follow me?-, he asked.

- No, I think we can freely talk in here-.

- Ok. Then sit, I think we're gonna stay here for a while...-

Two years ago...

Here I am, in the Platform 9 3/4, waiting to start a new year... The year I lost; the year I lost for destroying Horrocruxes; the year I lost to go fighting Voldemort.

I looked to a side, to the another, and couldn't find my friends. I was worried, of course not because of Voldemort, because they were experts for getting into trouble. And as I said, I turned around and found them arguing with Draco. WAIT! When did I start calling him Draco? Well that's a story I'll tell later; the fact was that my best friends were arguing, and that if I didn't stop them now, they would be punished then. So, she started walking to the place they were, and when she arrived, she got the surprise of her life.

- Hey, Hermione. We were waiting for you-, said her best friend Harry.

- Harry! I missed you so much!- She said, while she hugged him, when she noticed a funny face that Ron made, and left Harry to go and give a bigger hug to him. - And I missed you much more, Ronald-, said at the time she kissed his cheek, causin him an inmediate blush. - So, why were you waiting for me?- She was clearly ignoring Draco.

- Well, actually, humm... - He turned to Draco with a "help me" look,- you're the one who need to talk-.

- I don't think Dra... Malfoy has anything to tell me-, she said stopping whatever the blonde needed to tell her.

- Actually, yes. I was just apologizing for all those years I had bothered you three, you know, I was raised for that, and my father always told me you were nothing... Even when I was in disgust with it, I wasn't able to contradict him. So, sorry Hermione, for calling you mudblood, for insulting you, for hurting you...- He finished.

- Guys?- She didn't know what to do, but she was sure that if Harry and Ron forgave him, she hadn't heart for not doing it. Well yeah, he insulted her more than anyone, but she wasn't someone to reject his apologies.
They shook their heads in sign of agreement, and she knew wht she needed to do.

- Ok, Draco, I forgive you for all these things, and more you did. But, all I need is you to prove it, I need to know that you've really changed-, making Draco smiled.

She didn't know that was the day she signed her destiny, her cruel destiny.
