Cynder wasn't exactly taught the usual right and wrong as a hatchling. Likewise, she wasn't taught how to resolve a problem peacefully either. After all, who needs peace when you're the evil servant of a dragon that wants to destroy the world. As such, when she saw Spyro revert to his dark form and fly up a little, she wasn't planning on peaceful negotiation, still, she at least tried.

"Spyro… don't." Cynder said. Hey, she tried, that didn't mean she tried hard.

"You can't stop me." was Spyro's response, he likely didn't expect the next move.

Cynder grabbed the energy chain tethering her and spyro together suddenly… and yanked it down. Dark Spyro let out a yelp as he suddenly hit the ground and slid, coming to a stop in front of Cynder. The dragoness didn't stop there though as she spun and tail smacked him across the ground. Dark Spyro got up and shook his head in confusion.

"You threw me!" he yelled angrily.

"Hmm… not enough." Cynder observed before yanking the chain again and thus pulling the tainted dragon to her. Cynder took in a breath before letting out her Siren Scream, right in Dark Spyro's ear. The dragon hit the ground again, now shaking his head to clear the ringing in his ears. Cynder dove into her shadow.

"If you're going to fight then at least do it face-to-face!" Dark Spyro yelled, how dare this dragoness not at least give him a fighting chance!

Cynder answered this by jumping from her shadow and striking with a cyclone, sending Dark Spyro into the rocks. She pounced and slammed into the dragon, pinning him to the ground and grabbing his neck. "You can't get Ignitus back, he's dead!" She punctuated this by yanking the dragon's head up and slamming it into the ground. "I don't care if you can pull an entire planet back together, you can't bring him back!" She repeated her previous move and slammed Spyro's head into the ground again. "Now quit throwing a fit, we need to stop Malefor!" She slammed his head into the ground again, this time Spyro lost his dark color and returned to normal.

Spyro groaned as he got back up, a paw on his head. "I get that you were trying to bring me out of it, but seriously Cynder, couldn't you have at least been a little gentle?" Spyro asked, Cynder cocked her head to the side in confusion.

"I was being gentle?" Cynder said, though it came out as more of a question. Spyro groaned again, he had forgotten that he was talking to a former general of Malefor's army that the Dark Master himself had practically raised.

"You and I have very different definitions of gentle." He said.
