Annabeth

Luke's betrayal.

Ugh.

Disgusting to me.

After all we had been through, he just left me out of the blue, tried to poison my boyfriend, and tried to convince me multiple times to fight for his side.

My answer:

Hades, no.

He left everything, everybody, behind. His siblings, me, Chiron, his home.

How could he leave m- us behind?

Try to kill someone in cold blood?

And lie?

He was evil and twisted long before Kronos took him over and took control.

At least he fought.

He fought back for control.

In the war, he was mostly controlled by the Titan lord. But when he saw I was bleeding, when he saw I was hurt, he remembered his promise and broke away.

My blade took him away from us, at his own decision.

Nobody deserved his fate.

Percy gave him my knife, thinking that Luke would kill him on sight. He was fearful. I saw it in his eyes.

It wasn't like that.

He stabbed himself to save us, Olympus, the gods.

In the end, he realized what had to be done. He saw his role, his fate, and that he was the hero.

I thought he was a bitter hero.

That's the way I loved Luke Castellan.
