Bianca glanced at the current time on her phone. 9:13PM. She had sent Jax a text almost 30 minutes ago, and he had yet to respond. She felt icky inside for feeling so desperate; now she was being ignored.
'Great,' she thought. Bianca rolled over to the other side of her bed to stare at the fluorescent digits on her alarm clock. 9:16PM.

"What the heck is this?" She had been tagged in a comment by Jax. The photo was one of those weird, dorky memes and it read "TFW no gf :(" One of Jax's non-Keaton friends had tagged him in a comment and Jax replied, "Excuse you, I have a gf. Her name is Bianca and she is lovely ;)".
So he had time to compliment her online, but couldn't respond to her texts?
"That jerk." Bianca smiled in spite of herself.
