For Lexi! Because she told me to write a Scorily so here :)

Scorpius was hiding something. Lily was sure of that. He could tell by the way his eyes kept on shifting over to their closet.

"What?" she asked finally, breaking the silence of their dinner.

"Nothing," Scorpius responded, much too quickly.

"Why are you looking towards that closet?" she challenged.

"I'm not." Again, his response was too fast.

"So," she looked her boyfriend straight in the eyes. "if I got up and opened that closet door, I wouldn't see anything?"

"Nope. Which is why you should just stay right here and eat this fish. Wow, what great fish—" he faltered when she got up and made her way over. She flung open the door, looked into the tiny cupboard, and groaned, turning back to Scorpius.

"What is that?" Scorpius had gotten up to join her at the closet's door. He peered inside.

"I don't know. Looks like a life-sized manatee ornament that whoever bought must've had a very good reason for buying?" He tried for a winning smile, but it turned into an expression of cowering as she glowered at him. She might've been a head shorter than him, but she had inherited her mother's flair for being very good and being very angry.

"Scorpius Malfoy. I love you. Oh my god, I love you. But you have got to stop buying random pieces of crap! I thought you were done after the dog pooper scooper made out of silver."

"Hey, that scooper looked pretty," Scorpius muttered, looking a tiny bit ashamed. She picked up the manatee ornament, staggering only slightly under its weight.

"For the love of everything holy, why would you buy a manatee ornament? What reason would you have for buying this?"

Scorpius was quiet for a moment, then two. "It was on a very good sale," he whispered, still cowering slightly. He regained his posture, grinned, and took the manatee from her. "Look how cute it is!" He shook it around slightly, trying to make it wave at his angry girlfriend, but she didn't loosen her scowl.

"We have so much crap in this house. How do you even manage to find it all?"

"Talent," he answered simply, walking over to the couch and placing the huge ornament down. "And I found you," he pointed out. " You're not crap."

"You didn't find me," she muttered, relaxing her face a little bit. "I didn't need to be found."

He pulled her into a tight hug, grinning at her. "You're welcome."
