"You know I was joking right?"

No response.

"You're not really going to name our daughter Senshi Crimson?"

"Why not?" she turned to him, her red velvet hair swayed behind her, in a single slick move it sliced through the air. Man he loved her hair. "You" she pointed an accusing finger at him, " suggested it."

He ran his fingers through his soft thistles of blue hair, "I was kidding..."

He lifted his arms outward; hoping she would understand his gesture.

"Jellal..." she sighed, passing the baby to him, "I like it and it final."

She placed a soft kiss on her daughter's forehead before fully handing her to Jellal. The cotton blankets loosened on her journey from one parent to another, so he tucked the white sheets around her once again. Once getting a hold of her, her instantly cradled her head (which was smaller than his hand) and began swaying gently, being tranquil like a warm breeze.

"It reminds me of us," she pulled a stray strand of scarlet hair behind her ear, " you gave me my surname, it just feels right that you give hers."

"Why can't it just be Fernandez then, it's mine and it can also be hers."

"But Crimson is unique." She protested, her voice beginning to rise,

"God Erza all I did was comment on her hair" his words became frantic and he felt like he was fumbling for air, "You're making it sound as if I'm a saint or something."

Erza smiled, he knew that smile too well, it was a devious smile, " Well think about it, her name technically means 'The Crimson Warrior' has a nice ring to it doesn't it?"

He looked at her a smile forming on his own face, "It does. Doesn't it?"

"Thought so," she teased; sticking her tongue out, " I knew you would come around."

Jellal smirked, "Well I do come up with the best names don't I?"
