In All The Seasons

He loves her in all the seasons.

He loves her in the summer, when the golden beams of the sun make her look like a heaven-sent angel.

He loves her in the fall, walking demurely, leaves of different colors and shapes falling around her like a blizzard of color.

He loves her in the winter, bundled up in coats beautiful and expensive, but not as beautiful and expensive as she is.

He loves her in the spring, with the chirping birds and blooming flowers at her feet making her look like the goddess of nature.

Yes, he does love her. Charles Bartholomew Bass does love Blair Cornelia Waldorf, no matter what season it is. He loves her in everything, and absolutely nothing. He loves it when t he wind catches her glorious mahogany hair. And he may sound like a sappy fool when he says this, but he's damn sure he loves her.

When he started to love her, he remembers with astounding clarity. It was a beautiful summer day, the wind puffing gently through New York. He saw her stepping out of a limo, as he waited impatiently for Lilly. He saw the angel alight gracefully from the limo, at the age of 8. Pure and untouchable, he knew he wanted her. And he prayed years later, that she loved and wanted him as well.

She loves him in all the seasons.

She loves him in the summer, when he outshines everyone, and makes the sun seem inferior.

She loves him in the fall, a figure of power against the raging wind.

She loves him in the winter, standing strong and resilient against the icy cold.

She loves him in the spring, bursting to life, and making the most beautiful things seem drab in comparison.

She loves his strong will and charming ways, daring her to fall, enchanted, in his arms. She didn't, seeing as she is a Waldorf. But it made her fall even harder for him. She, the daughter of Eleanor Waldorf, nicknamed the Ice Queen, in love with Chuck Bass, the Prince of Darkness. She was cold and frigid, bound by proper etiquette. He was a spontaneous flame, burning brighter than the sun. He was a whirlwind of pure power and masculinity. She knew showing emotions for a Waldorf was pure taboo, but somehow, she didn't care. She loved him, after all. It didn't matter who knew. She may sound like a hopeless romantic, but it is true.

When she first saw him, all those years ago, her chest constricted with some strange emotion. Seeing him stare at her steadily, that burning gaze that seemed to melt her. She was 8, and from her mother, she found out he was 10. And later that night, those eyes watched her, in her own dreams. And from then on, she was determined to have him. But she wished with all her might that he returned the feeling of ardent passion kindling in her chest.

They were two kindred souls fighting the challenge of fate, existing in the cruel world. They both searched for the key to their happiness, and they found it in each other. Two simple people, with faults and mistakes, who brewed a love so intense it would survive the test of time. Whether it be Reina Thorpe, or Dan Humphrey, they would share a bond that forged the future ahead. Past, present and future, they were intertwined. And they loved each other, with a burning passion not even death could snuff out. It remained in them, burning brighter than the sun.

They were in love with each other, they just weren't aware of the bond that sealed their love. Nothing could tarnish the faithful love, not even death. And years afterward, they would hold on to each other like a lifeline. They would guide and lead each other's life, sharing, learning.

Sorry it's so short! Anyway, please read and review! :)
