"What's a slash fan?" Dean asked
Sam hesitated "As in Sam-slash-Dean"
Dean glanced up confusion clearly written on his face before looking back down. Sam continued
"Together"
Dean's head shot up. "Like together together"
"Yeah"
Dean looked a little disturbed "They do know we're brothers right?"
"Doesn't seem to matter"
"C'mon That's….That's just SICK!" Dean exclaimed
Sam stood and faced the window, his brother's words affected him more than he wanted to admit.
"Sammy?" Dean could tell by the way his younger brother went quiet something was wrong. He was about to ask again when Sam spoke "Is that really what you think?"
"Think about what Sam?"
"About us? What we have? You think its sick?" Sam Still faced the window to hide the lone tear streaming down his face. Suddenly the wheels started turning for Dean.
"Sam." No answer. Not even a muscle twitch.
"Sammy, look at me." No movement. "Please." Sam turned his head slightly towards his sibling just enough to see the concern on Dean's face. Dean moved closer to Sam to look him in the eye.
"Sam, the only sick thing about it is other people getting off on it. Its just weird that other people know without knowing." Sam turned to move away from the window.
"Dean" Sam paused not knowing how to say what he needed "I just want….I mean….I don't want….dammit I just don't want things to change because you know we have a prophet specifically for us or because of these damn books and the fans. I just want you to tell me that us together doesn't make you sick." Sam finished hanging his head as he sat on the bed. He couldn't help the tears running down his face now. Dean moved to stand in front of Sam and put a hand under his chin to look his little brother in the eye. In one look his heart broke. He saw the fear and doubt in Sam's eyes and he nearly started crying as well. He leaned in and gave his Sammy a gentle but passionate kiss. When they broke apart he answered. "Sam, NOTHING about what we do makes me sick. I don't care if we have a prophet or books or fans. I love you and nothing is gonna change that. Death couldn't. Hell couldn't. Ruby couldn't."
Sam nodded his head and kissed Dean again his fears gone. "I love you too. You know that right?"
"Yeah I do." Dean moved back a little with a smirk on his face as he wiped the tears from Sam's face. Sam noticed the smirk and asked
"What? Are my fears entertaining you?"
"No. God, No. Its just have you noticed for someone with a rule against chick flick moments you somehow sucker a whole lot of them out of me." Both men started laughing.
"Dude, don't blame you're emotional side on me. You're just a girl sometimes." Sam replied.
"And yet you are the bitch." Dean shot back shoving his brother a little.
"Jerk"
