I Was Made Out Of Men

By Bra1n1ac

I have rated this poem G, as I couldn't spot any objectionable material in it, though older readers will undoubtedly appreciate it as well.

(Note: This poem is a tribute to the late Adam Frankenstein, the only true name of the monster.)

I was made out of men, brought to life by machines,
I could conquer mankind using all of my means.
I walk among men like a lion.
I run like a cheetah with speed.
No hunger or thirst am I plagued by.
I have everything that I need.
I hear every sound that's around me.
I can sense every creature that's near.
I can tell where a person has been by their eyes.
Neither great heat nor cold need I fear.
I'm stronger than any known beast of the field.
I'm tough as titanium steel.
I know every secret the universe wide,
and every known wound I can heal.
As I stand here, I find I can read people's minds,
and my stare can chill men to the bone.
Yet do I curse when I think of these things,
For I found now that I am alone.
