There were times when the team gets to enjoy some peace and quite within the days that they didn't have any missions, or training. Those days appeared randomly whenever a certain Speedster decide not to show up for a while. Robin always played around with his computer, Artemis cleaned her arrows, M'gann baked, and Kaldur read a book, Connor staring at the static filled TV. But eventually one of them had to ask the question.
"Where do you think Wally is when he doesn't show up?" M'gann asked as she waited for the cookies to bake. She was honestly getting better at it. But all she got were a few shrugs.
"Maybe he's hanging out with his civilian friends?" Connor suggested.
"Baywatch has friends outside of the team?" Artemis snorted in amusement, putting down the arrow she was cleaning with a smirk. "Oh, I would love to see that."
"I''m sure he has plenty of friends outside of the team. He doesn't have to tell us about-" before Kaldur could finish, though, the computer announced the arrival of the speedster. And surprisingly, Red Arrow.
"I can't believe you did that. I mean, how stupid-"
"Dude, Roy, please. Just shut up about it will ya? What's done is done. Can't change what's done."
"You can change how you smell though. You reek, Wally."
The team watched as a blur ran past the living room and down the halls, all the while Red Arrow walked in with a chuckle. He sat down on the couch next to Robin, with a simple greeting and ruffling the Boy Wonder's hair a little then sat there relaxed as he could be around the teens. The team just looked at him, then down the hall (minus Robin, he was focused on the hack he was doing right now).
"So what did he do this time?" Robin asked the archer as he continued on with his task. "Did some stupid prank, boobie-trapped GA's house, tripped into a pile of trash... or let me guess, got picked on by some idiots at his school again. Do we have to make another trip to his school?" he briefly looked at the older red head with a raised brow, waiting for a answer.
"Well," Roy started, chuckling yet again at the memory "he did something stupid, got in a fight, then gets tossed in a dumpster, but managed to be the winner in the whole situation."
"How?"
"He got himself another freebie card."
"Where is it this time?"
"Star City. Card number three."
Robin began to laugh as the rest stayed confused of the situation. They didn't know what this freebie card the two were talking about, or why Wally would even need such a thing. M'gann was about to ask when everyone heard a groan coming from behind them. Wally walked towards the living room dressed in a pair of grey sweats and a bright red Flash hoodie, he was barefooted and from what they could tell from his dripping hair, he just finished taking a shower. They also noted that he was covered in small cuts and bruises, and a particulary nasty cut right above his left eye, forcing him to keep it closed.
"Well hello there dumb-dumb." Robin laughed as his best friend trudged over to the couch he was setting on and simply threw himself on top of the laps of the two occupants. "How are you feeling Wally?"
"Cruddy." Wally groaned, wiggling a little to make himself comfortable as he rested his head on top of the bird's lap, his eyes closed. "And hungry, and irritated, and slightly accomplished. But mostly hungry...Miss M, what are you doing?" he opened his right eye a little to see the martian hovering over him with a band-aid.
"You're bleeding, Wally." she frowned and placed the band-aid onto the cut above the eye. She frowned even more when he chuckled and lazily waved her off.
"This is nothing. Really. I had worse fights last moth than this one."
