TsunadexJiraiya
Hopes and Wishes
(Part One)
"Drip, drop."
Water drops fell from the roof as a beautiful blonde haired woman sat leaned against the wall looking into the distance.
She was feeling nostalgic as she remembered moments, events, memories of her past. Most, at the moment centered around her perverted old teammate.
She remembered his many calls.
"Tsunade! I will give you this one last chance to accept my offer and go out with me the great Jiraiya!"
She remembered his smile and confidence as he spoke, his strange dramatic pose, he never seemed to tire of chasing after her. He was however swiftly rewarded with a bone crunching punch that still hadn't taught him the lesson.
Perhaps she had been to harsh with him.
He was now on a dangerous mission, which he was not likely to return from and she wished she could've spent more time with him. She wished that she hadn't let him go.
It was impossible for her to refuse.
He had a big heart, that she could not deny. Unable to leave the poor orphans in the land of rain. Unable to give up on his best friend and teammate until he had no choice but to accept it. Unable to stop himself from taking Naruto under his wing.
She had gotten the position of Hokage because of him, but she knew that he wished for it more, that he deserved it more.
He wanted to do a great deed, add a good in his life. Yet he didn't realize he did so many amazing things.
He had asked her out that was true, but she wondered how deep his feelings actually went.
She loved him. In what was she did not know, but she had already lost so many, and Jiraiya meant more to her then anyone would understand.
"I hope he comes back alive. He has to."
Tsunade then stood and left to her office. She was human, she was worried, she was scared, but she was the Hokage. She could not let her private worries govern her actions. She must help the village as a whole. Even if he didn't come back she wouldn't allow herself to be weak.
She couldn't. She had hope he would come back because she couldn't stand to think otherwise. Unfortunately she knew she had no reason to have hope. People die, ninjas are more likely to die, and nothing can stop that. Even the best of ninja's, as Jiraiya was, simply couldn't live forever. She had enough experience with that, but for once she would keep hope, she just wished it would end in her favor.
With that grim thought she took a steadying breath, brushed her hair out of her eyes, and got to work.
(Hope it's good! PLEASE leave reviewss nobody likes my stories*depression* So i plan for their to be a second part for this of Tsunade after she learns of Jiraiya's death. Yes i'm being depressing I know)
