Yanni Yogi could feel the cold metal surface of the pistol he hid in his pocket. A slight shiver crawled up his spine as he stared out at the highway. He wiped the sweat off his brow and licked his dry lips.
'Soon…very soon…my revenge will be complete…' he thought as he saw a red car drive through the open gate. Yanni quickly made sure he as convincing enough to pass off as Hammond as the red car's door swung open.
A young man in his early 20's with short silver hair exited the car. 'Hmm…Edgeworth has certainly grown up…' Yanni thought as he looked Edgeworth. Even in the light of the moon, Yanni could easily see the beads of sweat rolling down Edgeworth's face.
After a few moments of silence, Edgeworth nodded and said, "Long time, no see…Robert Hammond." Yanni had to keep himself from chuckling as he nodded in response.
Yanni motioned his hands to the nearby Boat shop and replied, "Let us take a boat out into the lake. I have…private matters to discuss with you…" The small sounds of crunching leaves filled Yanni's ears as he lead Edgeworth to one of the small boats in-dock.
'My hands…they're shaking…' Yanni tried to keep a steady grip on the pistol as he started up the boat. As the boat rushed across the lake, Edgeworth brushed his right hand against the water slightly and said, "I'm quite surprised you called me out here, Robert. Especially tonight of all nights."
Yanni Yogi didn't even bother to reply as fog began to surround the lake. "I think we've gone far enough into the lake, Mr. Hammond…" Edgeworth replied. Yanni nodded and turned off the boat's motor.
'This is it…it's time for the final act of my revenge…' Slowly, Yanni Yogi began to stand up in the boat. "W-What are you doing…?" Edgeworth inquired. Yanni revealed the pistol in his pocket and whispered, "Merry Christmas…"
"Y-YOU…!"
BANG! BANG!
