Lord Garmadon wasn't always like this. Instead, he was a good boy who made a bad friend. This friend made him evil and made him do things he shouldn't have. His friend's name was Monster.

For once in his life, he wasn't afraid

"Monster," He asked softly

"How should I feel today?"

No one answered at first, but then

A voice as dark as his own heart answered:

"Today is full of pain,"

"Today you should be hurting"

"Today, you should steal her"

"But Monster," He protested,

"She'll hate me if I do that!"

"You asked me how you should feel,

Do you want my help or not?"

Defeated, he nodded

His Monster

His one true family

Was the one who made him steal her

"D-Don't do this!" She begged

"Monster,

How should I feel?

Creatures lie here

Looking through my window"

Slowly, with a last effort,

He forced his lips on hers

Slowly, he stole her

"Monster,

Misako said I was her regrets?

Do you regret me too?"

Slowly, the dark voice answered:

"No, I regret nothing."
"Misako said she's with child."

"That's interesting."

"Monster,

How should I feel?
Creatures lie here,

Looking through the window"

Monster hesitated, and then said:

"Today, you should die."

Slowly, he disappeared.

Slowly, he filled the bathtub with kerosene

Slowly, he got in

Slowly, he held a lighter to the liquid

Slowly, the sheets tore down

Slowly, his heartbeats grew faster

Someone opened the door

He was a glass child

And Misako stared at him

All he could see were glow flies

And her sweet face

"Monster,

How should I feel?"

Monster replied:

"You should feel happy,

I let you live today."

After that

He never saw monster again

But lived with Misako

And his little boy

But he still remembered the glow flies

And the kerosene

He hoped he would never have to do it again

Then he heard his son say:

"Monster,

How should I feel?"
