The Most Frightful Austen Time of the Year!

There will be long dinner parties with John and Fanny Dashwood, the Steele sisters,

and Mrs Ferras.

Hearts(and ears) will be "glowing" after being discovered in the wrong part of the abbey by General Tilney!

66.6 mile carriage rides with John "Indy 500" Thorpe…hardly a one horse open sleigh!

And hearts will be glowing with a rainy and cold six weeks at Netherfield with Caroline and Louisa and Mr Hurst…and no Darcy, Bingley, or Bennets. Hotel Netherfield…you can check in but you can NEVER leave…with apologies to The Eagles "Hotal California"

Marshmallows will be for toasting after a "quality" Sunday Dinner with the Price Family in Portsmouth.

When friends come to call….enjoy 66 hrs with Maria and Aunt Norris in the most gloomy isolated corner of the UK or the entire Earth!

When love ones are near….6 months living at Rosings with no else to distract Lady Catherine!

The most wonderful time of the year? 6 hours, 6 minutes, or even 6 seconds dancing with Mr Collins or taking a private tea with him. Ewwww!

Be of good cheer…Mr Darcy after a long carriage ride to the country or a Sunday evening with nothing to do...Chapter 10 P&P Charles Bingley "I declare I do not know a more awful object than Darcy…at his own house especially, and of a Sunday evening when he has nothing to do".

They'll be 6 hr card parties with Sir Walter and Elizabeth Elliot….alone! No Wentworths, Crofts, etc.

And caroling out in the snow with long country walks with Mary "Head Cold" Musgrove.

Supper party with Mr Woodhouse alone…Emma and Mr K were "unable" to leave the seaside….sorry!

Scary ghost stories…Miss Bates just received 66 letters from Jane Fairfax. You get to listen to ALL of them!

Hap-happiest season of all…"You are now Lady Susan's daughter(that's a particularly hard one for me!)"

Tales of the glories of Christmases long, long ago…snowed in for Christmas at Randells with Mr & Mrs Elton, Mr Woodhouse, Miss Bates, and John Knightley

There'll be much mistletoeing…with Mr Collins! Good grief!
