"Home"
I ran away in floods of shame
I'll never tell how close I came
As I crossed the hollow road
Well you went left and I went right
As the moon hung proud and bright
You would have loved it here tonight
Dianna sat there on a bench. It was night. A few feet away were many people. People she got to know, while filming this movie. They were getting ready for the new shot. She looked up to the moon and thought about her. Her one and only. Her Lea. They had a little fight, just right before she departed to Pittsburgh. She knew what would come and had told her girlfriend and soulmate. This thing with her co-star. Lea was not pleased with this development and said she was glad, that they would have some distance after they were together non-stop the last few weeks.
Now she looked up to the moon and thought how Lea would have loved it to be there with her to watch it. To forget everything that is happening.
Spin me 'round just to pin me down on the cover of this strange bed
Spin me 'round just to pin me down
She came to visit her. Lea was her giddy self with too much coffee. Dianna was so happy that day when she picked her up at the airport. They had that thing that they always do. Dianna twirled her around. They didn't do it at the airport, but in the safety of the hotel room. They landed on the bed and giggled. „I missed you" Lea's quiet words were full of honesty. Two weeks they hadn't seen each other. The next two days only words of love were spoken.
Wrap up your questions, keep them down
Let the water lead us home
And I was sorry for what I'd done
When you were young, I was not old
But our story was not told
Torn apart by greedy hands
It was difficult sometimes having a relationship, of which no one should know. They had good times and there were bad. Their managers and PR-teams were in full alert and kept them separate on every occasion. Her co-star and now „boyfriend" was not what she thought he would be. He made demands, she couldn't fulfill and didn't want to fulfill. She felt guilty for this whole pretend-boyfriend-thing, but Lea understood. They had each other and no boy could destroy what they had.

Spin me 'round just to pin me down
Spin me 'round just to pin me down I'll be gone by the night's end
Spin me 'round just to pin me down
At the end of an exhausting day on the set, they were happy to fall on the couch together, snuggled up to watch reality TV-shows, which Lea liked so much, or documentaries about history, art or animals, which were mostly liked by Dianna. When they almost fall asleep they would go to bed. They would forget about everything complicated in their lives like „boyfriends" and their public image. That's where they could be who they really are. On the next morning reality would hit again, when one of them had to leave.
I'll be home in a little while
Lover, I'll be home
When they are together, they are home.
