Charlie looked out the window at the Dalmatian walking by, who looked rather alone and sad. On an act of impulse he ran outside and called to her. "Hey! What's wrong?"
She looked back at him, her eyes lighting up. "Oh...I'm just lost, that's all. I don't have an owner, I was trying to find a place to stay."
Charlie blurted out, "Oh, you can stay at my house. I'll just have to hide you from my owner, David!"
She walked over to him. "Nice to meet you. My name is Emily."
Charlie grinned. "I'm Charlie Barkin, nice to meet you too. Come on in." She followed him into his house. A female dog, Sasha looked up.
That was four months ago. Now Emily was Charlie's new girlfriend. Sasha hated her. Charlie smiled at the memory. He walked into the living room where Emily was laying on the couch. David and his parents knew about Emily now, and they loved having her around as much as Charlie did. Even the new baby loved having her around. Charlie leaped onto the couch and sat next to Emily. "Hey, babe!" He greeted her warmly.
Emily smiles up at him, leaning back on his chest. "Hi Charlie!" Charlie leaned down and kissed her passionately on the lips.
