Just a little something I decided to do because I was bored and I just wanted to see what it would be like to be at NCIS HQ with the team. Anyway, hope you enjoy! Don't forget to rate and review!
"Ah! A brand new day, with the same old people." Tony DiNozzo sighed as he strolled carelessly into NCIS HQ
"You calling us old, DiNozzo?" I asked as he wandered by my desk on his way to his own. Ziva burst out laughing but quickly stopped as our boss, Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, walked into the room. "I trust you mean that as a compliment DiNozzo." Gibbs said
"Of course, Boss. I say it with the highest respect." Tony's face burrowed in concentration.
Ziva and I gave each other a 'not now, it's only 7am in the morning' look. Then I gave her a lop-sided grin as we both realised what was coming.
"YOW!" Tony yelped as Gibbs hand made contact with the back of his head.
That set us off again and this time it took us 5 minutes to calm down. By that time Special Agent Timothy McGee had entered the room. "What's so funny?"
"Nothing, Timmy," I couldn't explain when I was still balancing on the edge of screeching with laughter again.
"You guys always have some sort of inside joke that I don't know about." McGee complained
"That is the idea of an inside joke," Ziva sounded like she was struggling to stay calm as well.
"Maybe we'll tell you one day, Tim," McGee was clearly not happy with the idea of waiting to find out but an inside joke wouldn't be an inside joke if we told him. So a secret it will stay.
"While you're at it, you can tell me," Tony had got bored with the back-and-forth between us and was now trying to get back in the conversation.
"What if we don't want to tell you?" I loved giving Tony something to think about because he always came out with the most outrageous answers.
"Well..." And of he went on his very long and complicated answer on that he is senior field agent blah blah blah.
So this is my day at the office. With the most exciting, most interesting and most annoying people ever. I wouldn't change it for the world.
