The Doctor's Despair

Disclaimer: Doctor Who belongs to BBC. This is only a fanfiction I wrote. Careful it's full of feels. As well as this Doctor is Tennant as well as this isn't a fanfiction off of any episodes or specials. I merely took the characters and did this. First time writing a Doctor Who fanfic. I tried… Don't yell at me. I love Rose. But I'm writing this to troll a friend who fellows me. I wrote this while listening to Demons by Imagine Dragons. I'm sorry Kristin! Don't hate me too much!

The Doctor sat down inside his T.A.R.D.I.S., pain across his slim face. He caused the destruction of a planet, he caused her death. He crawled over to where he had left her bloody body. Touching her face, feeling the warmth slowly leaving, he whispered to her.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry Rose." He grabbed her head, stroking her blonde hair. Tears ran down his cheeks creating clean streaks on his dirty face. He clutched her body, swaying back and forth. Tears dripped onto her face, his cries muffled as he cried onto her shoulder. The Doctor sniffled, wiping his nose with his sleeve.

"I'm so sorry," He sobbed, his lips touched her forehead. His cries echoing through the T.A.R.D.I.S.

"I don't want you to go Rose," He cupped her bruised face, staring at her closed eyes. He cried as he kissed her, tears drenched her face. He continued to kiss her beautiful pink lifeless lips, his body quivering.

"I love you Rose Tyler." He whispered, stroking her cheek. Resting his head on her chest, with his constant sobs. Rose sat up in a flash gasping for air, terrifying the Doctor. Shrieking like a child, throwing himself into cover behind one of the pillars. Rose continued to gasp for air, her eyes shimmering gold.

"Rose?" The Doctor whispered from behind the pillar. His voice alerted her, her head whipped over to look at him. Rose got up on her feet, her wounds healing themselves with the shimmering gold. Her eyes still sparkling gold.

"I am the Bad Wolf!" Rose shouted at him, her voice augmented from the beautiful notes she used to produce. Her voice mimicked and deep. She clutched her head as though she had a headache, she looked back at him with a pained expression. The gold in her eyes glistened away.

"Doctor?" She asked him plainly, her lovely voice that he was so familiar too returned to him. His face brightened, a smile erupting from him.

"Rose Tyler! You nearly scared me to death!" He shouted as he retreated from the pillar to take her in a hug. Wrapping their arms around each other, the Doctor picked her up and swung her around.

"Seriously, don't ever do that again." The Doctor demanded as he put her down. She mimicked a salute back at him, making them both giggle.

"I do have one thing to say if something like this happens again Rose," The Doctor said, serious again. Taking her hands in his, he brought them to his mouth, kissing them.

"What is it Doctor?" Rose said letting his continue to kiss her fingers. The Doctor built up as much of his bottled emotions as he could. What he wished he could tell her, what he wished he could share.

"I… I… I love you." He finally said it. The words that made him feel free. He felt victorious.

"I love you too Doctor." Rose smiled, letting him wrap his arms around her waist.

He gave her the kiss of a lifetime. A kiss of a Time Lord.
