Author's note: Well, this has been going in and out of my head throughout May 10th, 2011, but not specifically with these characters. I decided upon these two mainly because I felt that it just… fit somehow. Even if you don't like yaoi, can't you at least enjoy this story? If not, then you know where the back button is. ._. Thank you for your cooperation.
Disclaimer: I don't own -man.
Side note: Italics (italics) are memories. And this is an AU [Alternative Universe] story; they are in highschool.

May 10th…
That day that I can't think about.
I don't need to think about it. It just appears in my mind like a nightmare that was once a dream. But I made it my goal in life to figure out why.
Why he just… dropped dead.
…Maybe 'dropped dead' was an overstatement. He wasn't walking when he died. He was lying down in my bed, like he normally is.
Allen looks at me. "What are you looking at?" I joke teasingly. He blushes slightly.
"Oh nothing, it's just you don't have your headband on! Silly usagi!" He says and I glance at him more closely; he's wearing my headband around his head like me!
"What are you doing wearing my headband?" I ask and he smiles.
"I want to be smart like you!" He giggles like a little child and I can't help but smile.
"You're so adorable!" I coo and he snuggles up closer.
He coughs slightly, and I raise my eyebrow, but when I'm about to ask if he's alright, he looks up and whispers out, "I'm fine, Lavi."
I wasn't going to argue, so I agreed. And when we fell asleep, I was the only one who woke up the next morning.
"Stupid, stupid, stupid!" I mutter to myself as I walk down the hallway. Why can't I stop thinking about him?
…That was a senseless question. Why wouldn't I be thinking about him? He was… My life after I met him; he was everything to me.
That Moyashi was everything to me.
And now he's gone.
I try to shake the thought out of my head as I walk into the cafeteria, putting down my books on the rack. I go inside the kitchen area to get my food; I turn my head to see dangos.
"Hey Lavi! Come here for a second!" I hear the silver-haired boy shout excitedly. I turn and look at him; he gets knocked down accidently by people walking past him. He stands back up, clearly upset. I run to him.
"Allen! Are you okay…? You're not hurt, are you?"
"N-No. I just wanted to show you something…"
"Alright, what is it?" I say and he turns to the side, revealing the dango cart. I look at him quizzically, but then he tells me to look harder. I do, and then I see it.
Our names spelled out with a heart shape between them.
"It's our one year anniversary, Lavi!" He says, smiling. "I-I couldn't get any money from Cross, since… you know. So I hope this is okay…! Miranda-san said that it's the thought that counts, but—"
"You stupid butt! Of course this is okay! It's actually better than any gift I could have gotten!"
His face lights up. "R-really?"
"Of course! Because it came from the best boyfriend in the world~"
He smiles and picks one up, plopping it into my mouth.
I shudder at them; they're no longer delicious to me anymore. I sigh and put them on my tray anyway, knowing I'll probably regret it later.
"Lavi," I hear someone say and I turn around.
"Eh? Kanda…? What do you want?"
