It was Super Bowl Sunday and the Hudmel household was a flurry with activity. The Glee men, Burt and John Anderson were all in the living room crowded around the T.V. commenting on the game and stuffing lots of fattening snacks into their mouths. In the upper rooms, the Glee girls and Kurt(who despite being tolerant of football would much rather being watching Funny Girl with his girls)were watching movies and indulging in chocolaty treats.

Despite the general noise that accompanies a house full of people, there was a general calm that Carole and Lacy Anderson were enjoying as they sipped their wine and chatted in the kitchen. That was until the whistle blew for half time and a small stampede down the stairs as the girls and Kurt ran into the living room effectively displacing the guys. The lights went off as Burt and and John came into the kitchen laughing as all of the kids in the living room burst into five part harmony singing and dancing along to Madonna.

The parents laughed to themselves as the performance ended and the girls and Kurt unceremoniously walked back up the stairs and the boys returned to their seats. The way the kids just seemed to get each other and play off of each other's needs so well that it was no wonder why they were able to pull off seemingly fantastical performances and wins after such disastrous situations like having their set list stolen and the never ending drama.

Yes, as the parents watched the kids disperse to their respective rooms, they smiled at to one another enjoying the frivolity of a peaceful night, with the worries of applications and regionals and the future weighing on their minds. They knew that the following months would prove difficult for all of kids present, but that they would handle the good and the bad they way they always did. Together and with a song in their hearts.

AN: SO I am watching the Super Bowl when I figured that all of the boys would want to watch together and I figured they would converge on the Hudmel residence. I know the ending is really cheesy, but I figured that this would be one of the few times that they could all relax without worrying about anything.

Also, I do not own Glee.
