Okay, so I was like, watching the 'Souzin's Comet' episodes, and Sokka's sword falls, so I was all "What happened to it?" So... now you can all find out!
The Space Sword
By silver-nightstorm
Summary: "My.. Space sword!" wailed Sokka, as he watched his sword plummet to the ground. Lee was a ten year old boy who lived in the earth kingdom. Now, as fire rained from the skies, Lee knew he needed to get away, and fast.
"My... Space sword!"
The sword fell slowly to the ground, even as Sokka watched it. It was blown to the side, and spun around in endless circles by the wind. It fell to the earth, and stuck point first in a rock, surprising the little boy who had taken refuge behind it. This boy's name was Lee.
He was ten years old, and he lived on the cost with his mother. His father had disapeared a few months ago, and he was all alone. When the fire started to rain from the sky, his house had caught on fire, and no matter how hard he tried, his earthbending couldn't help him. From inside the house, his mother screamed at him, telling him to run away and hide.
So here he was, behind a rock, watching the fire nation airships with fear and hate, wanting to do something, but being completely helpless. Helpless until a sword fell out of the sky, and stuck itself into the rock next to him. He faught desperately to free it, and finally succeeding. The sword was light, perfectly balenced, but razor sharp. A deadly weapon.
As he freed the sword, a bolt of blue light shot up to the heavens, pure energy. A sign. A sign that this... was ment to be. He was to be a warrior, and fight to destroy the last of the fire nation, and then, he would find the rightful owner of the sword, the sword's maker.
"Lee!"
A voice called to the boy from behind him. He gasped, that voice... he thought...
"Lee!" the voice came again, two voices actually, as if from a dream.
"Mother..." tears leaked out of Lee's eyes, "... father..."
Yes, he would find the owner of the sword, and he would succeed.
Kinda randomish... well, hope you like it! Review please!
