Marvin hated being holed up in the RPD.

Don't get him wrong, he loved working in the police station and interrogating suspected criminals as much as the next Raccoon City police officer, but it was one of those slow days that made him nearly fall asleep at the desk he was sitting at.

All he ever wanted to do (even as a little boy) was to go out and catch criminals. He wanted to feel that adrenaline… to feel that rush to be chasing some guy down the street with his gun drawn and his belt radio blaring about where to go next as to catch the guy. He's certainly felt it before when he was on patrol, but as it was stated earlier, today was one of those slow days.

"Bored…" He muttered to himself before propping his feet up onto the desk and adjusting his hat over his eyes, tilting his head downward and folding his arms across his chest. He figured that since he definitely wasn't going to be doing anything spectacular today, why not get some much needed sleep? He had been up for the past three nights worrying about a certain Hispanic 'friend' of his and his arrival.

He didn't know how long he had been asleep, but he figured he must have dozed off because he felt his hat getting ripped off of his face gently. He opened his tired eyes and blinked a couple times, clearing his vision.

"Wake up, sleeping beauty." said a playfully deep voice and Marvin's eyes widened at the man that was leaned over his desk before him.

The man, who held up a bag with the famous 'Starbucks' logo on it and was wearing his hat, gave him a childish grin, "Brought you some coffee and some donuts. Cops like donuts and coffee, right?"

Marvin rolled his eyes as he sat up, undraping his legs from the desk and he stole his hat back from the others head. Placing it on top of his head, he returned the grin and took the bag out of the others tan hands, "Yeah, Roddy. Cops like donuts and coffee."

Rodrigo simply smiled and leaned forward, placing a soft kiss upon his lips.
