Snow covered everything including Percy's jacket. It was what Percy called a 'Winter Wonderland.' It was truly beautiful, especially Central Park. Little birds sang their songs wholeheartedly. Percy sat on a park bench and listened.
Winter Wonderlands like that one only came once a year. As he listened to the birds' song, he remembered how he and his mother would come ice skating, then would go get ice cream. He gave a faint smile. Those were the good ole days. Before... He remembered he used to take Rachel ice skating too. He had proposed to her there on the rink, she had said yes. Then a month later said she wasn't ready.
Percy shook his head. He wasn't going to let that keep him down. He promised he wouldn't. He watched a young family of four play in the snow, and smiled to himself. This Winter Wonderland could bring even strangers together. Winter in New York was a wonderful site. Percy was lucky to call it home. He stood from the bench and walked back to his apartment with a small smile. He lived in such a beautiful Winter Wonderland, he only wished he could share it with someone special. Maybe next year, He thought to himself.
There's a story. Kinda random to. I was looking at a snow glob when I thought of this. So yeah. Review or die. Jk.
Au revoir!
