It is an overwhelming feeling, and Rose isn't sure she's ever felt it before. She has never really felt much of anything before, to tell the truth. She thinks of it as liberating once she starts to get used to feeling it on a daily basis. Once she starts to get over the shock, she allows herself an appreciation and respect to go along with the feeling, a maturity of which Rose never knew herself capable.
Spellbound.
The first time she feels it, is the time she sets foot aboard the Tardis for the first time. She thinks she must have gone round the bend, of course, but at this point so much has happened to her that she accepts it all as reality, and then she begins to note the beauty, and she is spellbound. There is a blue-green glow, the whole room awash in its light. The metal grating of the floor vibrates ever so slightly; she can feel it through the soles of her trainers. The ceiling is high and arched, and great twisting corals spiral up to it. There is a round console of all manners of buttons and levers and knobs, and it is beautiful.
The second time she feels spellbound Rose is on Platform One, looking down at Planet Earth. The seas and continents have moved slightly, but it is her home, and she is looking down at in from space, and that is beautiful.
She gets the feeling many, many times afterward - at nearly every sight they see. On Woman Wept, in an Elizabethan village, on the civilized planet of Sto with its grear glass cities, on top of Mount Everest, when the heart of the Tardis is opened for Margaret to look into.
She feels spellbound, too, when she looks at the Doctor - his warm, calloused hands holding hers, the warmth of his body when they dance, the touch of his leather jacket, the intelligence and knowledge and foreverness in his steely blue eyes.
Spellbound.
The strongest time she feels it, she will never remember. A feeling of power, of time, coursing through her veins, of giving life and taking life, of a brilliant gold-white light, and the feeling and promise of his lips against hers.
