"Give me back my lunch!" 287 roared, charging after a yellow blur. Experiment 625 raced along the halls of the lab, hanging onto a peanut butter sandwich and laughing hysterically. He bounced off the stone gray and shiny walls.

"Not a chance, sweetheart," he called, stopping his running and taking a huge bite of the sandwich. 287's eyes turned blood red. She ran for the yellow experiment, screeching as if insane. She curled her body into a ball, spikes suddenly jutting out of her back. 625 yawned and sidestepped her. 287 stopped herself and uncurled before slamming into the wall. 625 shoved the rest of the sandwich in his mouth and strolled down the hall with a casual wave in her direction.

287 groaned and sank to the floor, the spikes slowly melting back into her body. Before 287 could get to whining and complaining, a familiar pink experiment strolled out of the shadows.

"Hey, Claws," the pink experiment said, "Did 625 take another sandwich from you?"

287-or Claws-looked up, "Angel, are you sure you aren't programmed to read minds?"

Angel laughed, "I'm sure, sis."

Claws looked at her sister. It was hard to compare them. They seemed different, yet the same. Both of them had small, agile bodies and round heads that were rather large in comparison to their bodies. Both had enormous bat-like ears and round, black eyes. Both even had tiny stubs of tails. Besides that, however, they really couldn't be more different. Claws's coat was a dark peach, two black stripes starting above her eyes and going over the top of her head down to her tail and a sparkling white star were her only markings. Claws also had large ram horns on each side of her head and long nails, tipped with a paralyzing poison, on her fingers.

Angel, on the other hand, was a bright pink. Her pink became lighter around her eyes and on her stomach. She had two, flowing antenna that were almost like hair, also bright pink. Angel also had a white V on her chest, very much like Claws's star. Angel's nails were shorter and covered in violet nail polish.

"That 625 makes me feel so obsolete," Claws complained.

"Well," Angel reminded her, "He was created to be an improvement on you."

Claws rolled her eyes, "Thanks for reminding me. I don't know why the doc keeps me around..."

"'Cause he can't let you go without getting caught," Angel replied, examining her nails. Claws smacked her forehead. She knew that. She knew she had to stay inside the lab or Jumba would get caught and arrested. Then they'd all be converted to good or banished. They weren't really evil, except a few of them, but they were considered evil genius creations anyway. Claws sighed. She didn't even know what the outside looked like, only knowing about the stories Jumba had told them, and those were very few.

Angel smiled and helped Claws up. "Come on, let's get back to the other girls. You know how impatient Kitty and Sugar are."

Claws winced and then giggled, "Yeah. I remember."
