A Moment Like This

Author's Note: Okay this is a one-shot fic that I wrote after listening to "Piece of Me" by Britney (weird and has nothing to do with weddings I know). I was bored and wrote this small story.

It's nothing special. Please Review and Have a Merry Christmas.

Before I forget…Disclaimer: I own nothing WWE related. If I did do you think I'd be typing this at twenty to nine at night? I could be out drinking or vandalising…or watching Star Wars lol!

Tears welled in the blonde's eyes as the silver; diamond tiara was placed carefully on top of her soft curls. The strapless, ivory A-Line dress flowed in the cool freeze which entered the small canopy. There was beading on the bodice and the dress was floor length covering her satin sandals.

"You look beautiful." Her red headed bridesmaid choked out. Her purple dress emphasised her curves and brought out the colour in her eyes.

The bride grinned broadly and hugged her best friend.

"I love you Amy…I can't believe it! I'm actually getting married today!" The woman squealed and Amy hugged her tightly.

"Little Trishy is all grown up!" Amy smiled then held her at arms length. Tears formed in Trish's eyes. Amy gently wiped them away with her finger.

"Hey! Don't you start crying! If you smudge your make up Andrea (the wedding planner) will kill me!" Amy gently warned her causing the older woman to smile.

Music began and they could hear people shuffling about to get to their seats. A 50 year old blonde woman in a navy blue dress with matching wrap entered.

"Patricia…my darling you look beautiful!" she said wrapping her daughter in a hug.

"I love you mom…Is it almost time?" Trish asked excited as today she was going to marry him….after 4 years together…today was their time to shine.

"It's sunny…no clouds in sight." Cathy (making names up don't care…Trish's maw btw D)

"A sign." Amy added with a small smile.

Suddenly a brown haired, 6ft man in a black suit entered with a bunch of red roses.

"It's time Patricia…everyone's waiting for you." He kissed her softly on the cheek and handed her the roses.

Trish beamed and kissed the man back as everyone got into position.

Amy walked down first accompanied by Matt who looked smart in his new tuxedo. Amy smiled at him and then at Jeff who stood happily next to his father. Matt joined them and Amy stood at the other side.

"I'm proud of you son and I know your mom is proud of you…she's looking down on us with a smile on her face." Gill Hardy replied to his son as he squeezed his shoulder. Jeff squeezed his dad's hand.

"I love you dad."

Matt cleared his throat as Trish's brother Ryan walked Jeff's cousin Caitlyn down the aisle.

"I love you too bro."

Matt smirked and whispered.

"Now Jeff when you are declaring your love to Trish…please, call her your wife and not your husband."

Jeff playfully punched him and Amy shot Matt a look.

"What?" Matt mouthed at his girlfriend.

Before Amy could reply the band took their cue and began Here Comes the Bride. All the guests stood up and watched in awe as Trish walked slowly down the aisle, her father at her side.

The sun was shinning in the North Carolina sky as they said their wows in front of all their friends and family.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife…you may kiss the bride."

Jeff grinned and leaned closer to Trish who brought her lips to his. The outdoor ceremony erupted with mass applause as Trish wrapped her arms around her husband and the kiss deepened.

When they broke apart Jeff held her in her arms and they gazed lovingly at each other. They couldn't have asked for anything more and they couldn't wait to grow old together.
