Percy held the satchel close to his heart. Trying to slow his breathing. he heard the horses footsteps slowly pass. Finally, he thought, it was amazing how far that damn horse would go.

It'd chased Percy through the kingdom through the forest and off a cliff. Letting himself breath Percy moved the curtain of leaves, And walked down a short rock passageway.

Coming around the corner he stopped In surprise, a single tower stood in the middle of a clearing. It's rustic white bricks were covered in rooting moss, the tiled roof was painted a vibrant blue.

Clean A waterfall fell behind it into a stream below. Percy turned around to leave when he heard another low Neigh. Balancing His options Percy headed for the tall tower.

He used the moss to climb finally reaching the top he closed the big wooden window to avoid suspicion. Taking out the crown he spoke to it. "Alone at last-" A gasp escaped his lips as he was suddenly thrown into the air bouncing once twice then suspended by both ankles.

Percy twisted to see what had gotten him. Bright blonde.. hair? Hung him upside down. The satchel had fallen to the floor and lay open, the crown inches from it, on the brightly tiled floor.

"I'm not afraid of you!" a female voice proclaimed. Percy squinted in an attempt to see the features of the small frame standing in the blackness.

"Come on out then, hot stuff." he called. After a few seconds he tried something else. "Blood is starting to rush to my head here."

A thin female about Percy's age of seventeen stepped into the light. She wore a fancy long sleeved Dress with orange covering her top half and brown bottom going down to her calves. Her blonde hair curled like a princess's fell to the floor and strung intricately around the wooden beams.

On her shoulder was a Guinea pig with with fur and a little curly red Afro, it seemed to glare at him.

she was standing Securely, pointing a... frying pan at Percy. he looked her up and down, she shifted uncomfortably but didn't move. "I knew it, you've come for me!" nothing was special about the girl. Except for her extreme attractiveness. She moved closer, holding her pan intimidatingly "Any last words?"

"Who are you and what's with the Guinea pig?" Percy asked Cockily, letting his gaze wonder around the room. There were a couple of open books on the floor. Papers lay in a neat stack next to them, along with some building blueprints.

"Tell me who you are first." she challenged. Percy was brought back to reality. He rolled her eyes at her, crossing her arms still hanging upside down.

"Percy." He said.

"this is Grover, I'm Annabeth." she replied.

"Well Annabeth, this has been fun and all but I need you to let me down now, I have some important business to take care of." The satchel suddenly caught Annabeth's eye and she approached it a slowly lifted it onto her head.

"This is really nice, I don't think you could replace something like this." Astrid stepped back into the room and edged towards him.

"Give. It. Back." he warned. Annabeth smirked.

"No."

"No?"

"But!" she said suddenly excited. "If you take me to see the floating lights then I'll give it back." The lights? Was she talking about the lanterns they sent into the sky every year? The thing they did for the kidnapped prince or something.

"You seriously think... I'd take you?" Percy stared at the crown on top of her head. "I could just take It from you." She stomped her left foot onto the ground.

The room was pitch black. Percy fell to the floor The crown and satchel were gone but Annabeth stood in the exact place in the exact position. Percy groaned sprawled out on the floor, he slowly stood up and brushed himself off.

Annabeth strolled around to his side and nudged him with her pan. A small smile on her face. "Fine Blondie I'll take you, But you do what I say when I say it." she nodded happily

So did the guinea pig.
