Chapter 1

Blue Squeaky Mouse

Hello there! Do you know the Thompsons? No? Well, I can't blame you really. They aren't like any celebrities. They were just a regular family in London…They had 3 children Emma, Leo and Robyn. Their parents Hailey and Mark were two very busy people. So busy in fact couldn't they even hear the owls that were dashing on their chimney that night… Anyway the Thompsons went sailing so often that their kids became spoiled and unkind. All except one. Robyn was the only kind and respectful child in the family, just like his parents. However, the world isn't always perfect, and so it was that the Thompsons's parents have passed away while sailing during a storm. So now Emma, Leo and Robyn had to live at their grandparents' house in which Robyn's two cousins Alex and Theodore lived in. All of children were very spoiled in there. Even Robyn's cousins. And like all they bullied Robyn. One sunny day in August Robyn looked through the post and found himself a letter. A letter which had his name on it. Before he could read it his cousin Alex took it and tried to read it but Robyn then became furious and shouted:

"ALEX! YOU GIVE THAT BACK RIGHT NOW!"

His grandpa urgently defended Alex:

"Hush! You stick of a boy! Alex's done nothing wrong!"

"But granddad she took my letter!"- said Robyn.

"Oh, stop lying! You couldn't possibly get a letter in August! It's probably a bill! Go on then give it to your grandma!"

"I'll give it to her grandpa!"- said Alex in a very nerve wracking way.

Alex went and gave the letter to her grandmother saying:

"That little rat like liar took it, granny!"

"OH, ALEX! Where did you hear that language from!?-Said grandma Katie.

"From grandpa, of course!"- she said proudly.

"Don't ever use that kind of language again! Alright dearie?- asked the grandmother.

"Oh and call Robyn to come here too! Okay?

"Okay!"- shouted Alex

Alex ran to Robyn, kicked him on the leg and told him:

"HAHAHA! Grandma's now goanna punish you for stealing her bill!- said Alex as she continued laughing and dancing happily in a circular pattern.

Robyn rubbed his leg from the kick and wondered why would he get punished for reading his own letter. He walked through the hallway which had white walls and a brown and yellow flower patterned carped. He opened the door and entered the quiet circular room with lots of carpets widows and white curtains and a bunch of cupboards and bookcases with necklaces and wooden figures. There was also a white rocking chair with yellow flowers on it. The grandma was quietly rocking herself and knitting until she noticed the little boy standing by door. She surprisingly said:

"Robyn! Come, come my dear."

"Robyn, tell me did you read this letter?"- she asked while flapping the letter in her hand.

"No, but I wanted to"- scarily answered Robyn.

"Oh! Then come on here! We'll read it together!"-she smiled and tapped the chair in a way to tell Robyn to sit next to her.

Robyn was very confused because he taught he'd get punished. Robyn read letter and it sounded like this:

"- Dear Robyn! I know your name, your age, your hobbies, everything! Don't be scared! Your grandma should be familiar with my region. I would like to keep myself anonymous for now, but our world is in danger the mysterious ways have been opened. To make sure this is you reading, tell me your favorite bird species and go to the post office on FRIDAY then go to sector 9 and tell the man "Blue Squeaky Mouse" and your favorite bird species. In the letter simply tell me if you agree to come with me to the land of Teris.

From the unknown"
