No way, no way, no way, no way... She wasn't, she couldn't be... that way.

Even to think of something as stupid as Luna being -- which she definitely was not -- a lesbian was hard to wrap the head around.

Yet Luna had noticed when Ginny looked at her for perhaps too long, and when Ginny held body contact. Things that anyone who wasn't looking would have missed, she saw, and did absolutely nothing.

Once again she was doing nothing. frantically screaming telling herself that it was a misunderstanding, a little error in communication. However far-off she seemed to the world, inside she was tied down to reality perhaps too tightly.

Analyzing away every happening of the day, profiling it away to be thought upon once. Thinking her poor brain into a corner of over-thought paranoia.

Okay, so maybe there could be a way... a tiny loophole through which she could scurry through every now and then, which she had done. Time after time while she continued deluding herself into the mold no one but her had cast.

There wasn't anything truly wrong with slipping away to the library to meet Ginny or leaving her dorms at night and sneaking into Ginny's private room until dawn. The feeling of Ginny holding her and the words she whispered couldn't all be lies.

Letting herself be deceived for such a long time had been stupid, crazy, "I guess I really am loony..." she smiled.

A/n - dedicated to the anonymous reader who decided to give me advice. it didn't work though, i accidentally, out of habit, simply wanted to, pair Luna with Ginny.

p.s. thank you for your support.
