Deadly Acceptance
Author's notes: I also wrote this a long time ago so my writing is probably better, but I've decided to post it anyway because I sort of like it. This is just a weird little drabble scene that came into my head that I decided to jot down. :P What if Kyon had to do a lot more to become a member of the zodiac? A LOT more?
Dedicated to my dog, Duchess.
Disclaimer: I don't own Furuba. But I do own this little story. Steal and ye'll burn.

Kyou stood and stared at the newly painted ground in disbelief. It was painted with a thick layer of blood. Three bodies were sprawled across it, making Kyou's hands tremble while he looked from body to body.
He saw the dull, open eyes of Tohru, who lay on her side. He remembered their once-had vividness and his blood-showered hands curled into a fist.
Kyou moved to Shigure, who held a lifeless, eternal smile. The slightly perverted writer that he had grown to know and hate was gone forever, yet it caused Kyou's teeth to tightly clench.
One more time, he glanced at Yuki's body before lowering his head and letting out a small tear. Now, even that 'damn rat' was gone. Now, he didn't even have someone to fight with.
His shoulders wouldn't hold still as he tried to stifle his crying. There was no difference when Akito came up behind him and rested his head on Kyou's shoulder with a wicked grin.
"What's the matter Kyou? You did it. You killed them. Now you can be an official member of the zodiac. Isn't that what you wanted?" Akito's falsely soothing voice did little to help the matter.
Kyou's fists further tightened, but gradually loosened again as he realized that punching Akito wouldn't help much. "This isn't what I wanted," he whispered before turning around and yelling it to Akito's face. "This isn't what I wanted!"
Akito snickered, which shortly changed into a cruel laugh. "Well, that's just too bad," he said, as he poked Kyou in the chest. "Because now it's all you've got. That is, unless you have a better idea." He sneered.
Kyou tried to keep his hands steady as he quietly replied, "I do." He looked at the trio of bodies in front of him through shadowed eyes, as he gripped his beaded bracelet with regret. Then he took out the pocket knife and set it gently upon his wrist.

Author's notes: Yes, he decided on killing himself. –gets ambushed by a horde of fangirls- Oh, and he did kill them by turning into his true form, which is why he gripped his bracelet with regret. (If you haven't read volume 6 then you don't know what the heck I'm talking about ) Please tell me if you guys got those things!
