People ran down the streets as bombs dropped from the sky. Panic filled screams echoed through the alleyways as the troops took down the unbelievers. They wanted a revolt, a change, but this time, they took it to far.
SG-1 fired at the troops and try to defend the people that they damned. "Sir there's too many of them!" Sam yelled over the gun fire to Jack as they took cover behind a rock. "We need to fight Carter. We can't abandon these people." Jack said as he fired his gun at the on coming troops. Daniel and Teal'c took cover behind another rock as did Cameron and Vala.
Suddenly the troops stopped firing as their guns seemed to be broken. A hushed voice wisped through the air, "Retreat or you will suffer the fate of your guns." The voice seemed familiar to SG-1. A calm but stern voice.
Daniel's eyes went wide as his mind finally landed on a name, "no way…" Daniel said as a bright light filled the area and the troops seemed to have disappeared.
Adria stepped out furious, "Damn Ancients! Always getting in the way. SHOW YOURSELF!" Adria screamed as the figure showed them self.
It was a woman. She had Auburn hair that hung loosely around her shoulders. Her brown eyes held a hard gaze towards Adria as she stepped closer to her.
Daniel let out a gasp of surprise as his heart leap up to his throat, "oh my god janet." Daniel managed to say as Adria let out a sigh. "You are the threat….this is what they send….I was expecting more of a challenge." Adria said as she prepared to fight.
Daniel stood up, "Janet don't do it! She'll trap you!" Daniel shouted as he forced his tears back as smiled reassuringly, "I can do this daniel….believe me….this is my right of passage." Janet said as she readied herself for the battle.
Adria closed her eyes as beams of energy started to build up in her hands and surge towards janet. Janet held her hands up as a brilliant white light came from them and forced Adria's energy back. Adria struggled to stand her ground as Janet became stronger as Daniel began to pray for janet to win. His love warmed her heart and gave her the energy she needed to not only defeat Adria but place herself back into the land of the living. Janets eyes turned white at the surge of power going through her.
Eventually, Janets power covered Adria and with one final scream Adria was gone. Janets hands fell limply to her sides as her eyes returned to her normal eye color. Daniel ran forward and caught her as she fell. Daniel hugged janet closely, almost unbelieving that he was holding her.
Janet eyes opened and gazed up into Daniels concerned blue eyes. "Blue eyes of the skies and I'm home again." Janet said lightly as Daniel smiled and tears fell freely and he kissed janet lightly. "I missed you so much." Daniel said as Janet smiled, Daniel helped janet up.
Janet smiled brightly to the others as sam ran over and hugged janet tightly. Jack smiled brightly and Teal'c smiled as well. Vala looked unsure of what to do cause she didn't know janet that well and Cameron felt the same, but they both were looking forward to getting to know her.
SG-1 now a whole, walked through the gate with the hope that in the end everything will be fine.
