Ok, I suck at planning multi-chapter fics, hence midori's absurdly long hiatus. So until that works itself out, consider this a missing scene or something. It was written in an attempt to give me a better feel for characterization in midori, anyway. Maybe it's my evil Tohma-hating-personality coming out, but I really like the idea of Tohma+ Fujisaki being unrequited.

Sakano arrived moments later carrying a tray with four mugs of coffee and a box of doughnuts. Shuuichi bypassed the coffee completely and would have inhaled the doughnuts by himself had Hiro not tackled him and fought for his breakfast sweets. K laughed heartily, commented something about the beauty of friendship, and snaked a mug for himself. Fujisaki barely had time to claim his own espresso before Sakano sent the tray flying, frenetically gesturing as he tried to explain to K that that was Sachou's drink. K sipped at the brew contentedly, not at all surprised that Tohma would like sickeningly sweet coffee.
""Ah, I see everyone is here early this morning. Please do your best today." Seguchi Tohma smiled from the open doorway.
"Sa-Sachoooooou!" Sakano panicked and looked about frantically for the remaining coffees, only to find that he'd flung them across the room in his earlier fit. Hiro hadn't been happy when Shuuichi had smeared glazed sugar all over his face in an attempt to defend his 12 doughnuts, and was now trying to wring the strong-smelling coffee from his hair and t-shirt. Sakano glanced by at K, who was of course the root of all this mayhem and who had also nearly emptied his mug. It was a last ditch effort, but Sakano had to make sure Seguchi-sama's day started off right! The whole incident lasted about three seconds, and in the swirl of excitement Sakano reclaimed Fujisaki's coffee, dumped in three creamers and four sugars, stirred frantically and, emphatically bowing his apologies, presented it to Tohma.
Fujisaki scowled. In reality, he probably needed that caffeine more than Tohma did, and anyone who had to ruin java with that much sweetness didn't deserve to have it anyway. Tohma just smiled, damn him.
"Thank you Sakano-san, but I stopped by Cyclo on the way in," and handed the mug back to Fujisaki. Fujisaki pushed it toward Tohma, mumbling that is was no longer fit to drink, he couldn't stand it that sweet. Tohma's smile faltered imperceptibly.
Sakano was torn between relief that Tohma's morning hadn't been ruined after all and devastation that he was completely useless as an employee. "Here, Sakano-san, you deserve to treat yourself every now and then, too." And Tohma was gone again. Sakano stared reverently at the mug as tears streamed down his face. Seguchi-sama had given the drink to him, to lowly producer Sakano! The joy! Coffee had never smelled better, Sakano thought as he savored the aroma. He would have to keep the mug as a memento.
K shook his head. He never did understand exactly why Sakano worshiped his employer to such an extreme degree.
