Hi! This is my first fanfic, and English is not my first language, so bear with me. In my story, Bella never kissed Jacob right before the battle, just so you aren't confused.
I stared at the fight between Edward and Victoria, neither seemed to be winning. Seth had already destroyed Riley, so he was helping Edward, which should give Edward an advantage.
Then Victoria did something that I had never even imagined, she seemed to vibrate, like when a member of the La Push Pack was angry. Suddenly there was two of Victoria; she had just made a clone of herself. Now Edward and Seth didn't have much of a chance. The second Victoria quickly pounced on Seth and snapped his neck, killing him. Now it was two against one.
They came at Edward on both sides, trapping them. I knew what was about to happen, they were going to kill Edward. I was paralyzed, I couldn't move, blink, or scream. Alice should be able to see us now; that alone should alert her. Why wasn't anybody coming!?!
I was frozen while I watched Victoria kill the reason for my subsistence. At that moment, right after they had torn him apart, did anyone come. They all came, every werewolf, every Cullen. I hear a strange screeching sound, only then did I realize that it was me, I was screaming. Both Victorias were swiftly destroyed. Esme and Alice came over to me, while Carlisle, Emmett, and Jasper set Victoria ablaze.
"Bella, oh Bella." Alice cried.
I wasn't crying, but felt utterly dead. Unfeeling, blank, like there was not a cause for my existence, there wasn't.
"Bella!" Esme was shaking my shoulder, trying to get my attention. "He's going to be alright, what you saw wasn't real, you passed out when Victoria duplicated herself."
What?!?! My mind screamed. I couldn't form a sentence to save my life right now. I had to see this for myself.
Right then, I felt a pair of stone cold arms wrap themselves around my waist.
"Bella, it's alright, nothing happened to me, you passed out and started screaming, that was what distracted Victoria enough for Seth and I to destroy Victoria."
It was my own imagination getting the better of me again. Everything was going to be alright; everything was going to be perfect.
