"A long time ago in a galaxy far away..."
"That's the beginning to Star Wars!" Madison giggled as she threw her pillow at her uncle.
Rodney scowled back, "Hey, you didn't say it had to be original."
"I want a Christmas story!" Madison reached for the next pillow and Rodney prepared to block.
"Okay, okay! Fine. Let me think."
"How about a Christmas story about Atlantis? Does it snow there? Are there aliens? Do the aliens invade on Christmas?"
"Who's telling the story, you or me?"
"Me."
"Well then, please go on." Rodney crossed his arms across his chest as if daring Madison to tell a better story than he could.
Atlantis was covered in snow and flying aliens. John didn't know if the aliens were bad or not so he and Ronon went to defend the city because they were the bravest of the brave.
"Hey! I'm brave..."
Madison exaggerated the finger in front of her lips with a loud shush sound. "It's my story!"
"It's completely ridiculous!"
"So was yours."
The trip was icy and dangerous but at last John and Ronon reached the head alien. He had a very large head and he breathed presents.
"He breathed presents?"
"Yes! I want an alien than can breathe presents."
"I'm sure you do."
"As I was saying..."
"What do you want?" John shouted to the big headed alien.
"We want to share Christmas with you. Alas, our galaxy is covered in ice and we cannot get home for Christmas. Can we please share it with you?"
John smiled and he was very handsome. Ronon wanted to shoot them but John stopped him.
"Of course you can share Christmas with us. We shall skate on the ice and share lots of presents, but not Rodney because he's spending Christmas with his family back on Earth."
And so they all enjoyed Christmas together. The end.
Rodney blinked a few times trying not to let his mind break. "That was the..." he caught sight of Jeannie's warning glare. "That was different."
"Thank you!" Madison looked very proud.
