She opened her eyes to see him placing a candle on either side of her head. She looked at him raising an eyebrow and smiling said "must you do this every night?", he merely gave a half smile and continued. She slipped back into sleep.
She looked around her and found herself surrounded by people in beautiful gowns and exotic suits spinning past her, and through the mass of light and people she saw a form dressed in a midnight blue velvet jacket with what seemed to be real stars twinkling on it, his light hair falling into his eyes as he put on hand in hers and the other around her waist pulling her close to him. As they danced she could not make her eyes move from his. When the night was ending and the world was crumbling he grabbed her shoulders pleading with her with his eyes and said "Save me".
Sarah woke with a jolt from the almost memory of her night with the goblin king. She slid out of bed and walked quietly to the bathroom and looked at her pale reflection, never had the dream been so vivid before.
