I randomly wrote this in school once and I finally decided that maybe I should post this.
Think of it as a 'what if Veruca somehow won the factory instead of Charlie?' deal, poem-style.
Disclaimer: I do not own Charlie and Chocolate Factory, book or movie-wise. I do own a copy of the book...and this poem. And that's all. Kthnx.
Veruca
By Bilbo-sama
The day the chocolate factory closed down,
The store shelves were left empty
The cravers started withdrawing
And the gates closed shut
As the last Oompa-loompa crossed over the fence.
They refuse to work for her.
They were never paid
They were never thanked
They had to massage her smelly feet
They wanted the true owner back.
Where did he go?
He wouldn't stop shipping the chocolate like she did
He wouldn't be greedy
He wouldn't let this continue
And he wouldn't add salt to the chocolate.
But don't worry,
The withdraws will stop
The factory workers will find new jobs
The store shelves will refill
And all will forget the taste of Willy Wonka chocolate sooner or later.
