Diary of a Bartender
What does the Bartender for the CSI's say about them and what is her life like?
Entry One
My Name is Michelle and I work at a bar where the cops all come to here in NYC the city of neon and Chrome. I've been working here for about a year and boy do I love my regular cops. First there's Mac Taylor he is a Liutenet and works with the CSI's and the rest of his crew are my regulars. Mac let's see what else there is…I do remember him having a wife but I haven't seen her in a long time I heard she had died in September 11, everyone lost someone so I wouldn't be surprised. He's been hanging out with another girl from work. He doesn't drink much except a glass of water with some lemon. Then there's Stella Bonaserra. She's Greek and grew up in the system, tough lady. Many officers who work with her look up to her. In her defense she talks to me often, se is quiet a lot. She seemed angsty I do wish she would of told me what was going on. Then there's Danny Messer, he and I went to high school together not like he would remember me. Smug sometimes, his family was interesting as well. He comes around with a girl now and calls her Montana. And there is another. I've seen him only once or twice he stays reserved and stays in a corner, I don't remember his name though. I thought he smiled at me once, but that may have been a daydream. This is my work and this is my life.
Entry Two
A man who was not my regular smiled at me today. He gave me his number. Stella was there so I said to her:
"That Guy is so hot I can't believe he gave me his number!" Stella then responded in a voice I think she said something along the lines of,
"Careful who you talk to" was that weird or what? Well I'm tired I sort of like that man but that shy CSI I like him as well. I've got to sleep on it.
Entry Three
He came back, but this time he watched me the whole time at the bar. I tried talking to Mac, but he was busy with his girlfriend. Should I be worried? If he gives me that sideways glance again something must be done, Stella's seems to be happier. That's good I was going to ask her what I should do, nut I don't want to ruin her night. She has a right to be happy
Later…
He asked for a drink, I tried to give it to another barista to take it to him. But he wouldn't let her, he grabbed me on my arm. I yanked away from him but he left a bruise. Stella wasn't here tonight. The Shy one was here though. I may of seen Danny and Montana girl. Doubt any of them Cared though.
Fourth Entry
So far it's been a good night. He said he would like to talk to me. He was so sincere so I gave him a chance. I'll see him in a minute. None of the CSI's are here but I think Stella would die if she didn't know what will happen next. I'll tell al later!
A girl with brown hair laid in a misconstrued position of a fetus, her head looking upward towards the two CSI officers above her.
"I can't believe it!" Stella says to Mac "We could of seen it coming, she tried talking to us" Mac closed the Diary.
"She's trying to tell us something" Hawkes kneels down and takes a picture of her scared face.
"Goodbye," Hawkes says under his breath "If only you knew"
