Bobby sees it. You know he does. You know he sees exactly what it is between you and G, just as you're able to see what was once between him and McGuire.

And, from the way his eyes dart between the two of you, you know that he sees exactly how you've positioned yourself just in front of G, just close enough to protect him. It's likely that Bobby has done the same for McGuire on more than one occasion – perhaps in a bar when too much liquor had been spilled or even when someone moved too close to the guy's sister.
But, there's something else that Bobby sees in Callen. You see the way he's watching him, sees the way he looks at him – as if he were ready to steal G right from under you.
So you hold Bobby's gaze just a little bit longer, telling him with your eyes exactly what you'll do to him if he dares to make a move. And you can't help the flash of a smirk when you Bobby responds with a half-step back – he's backing down.
