So this is my new story. The one I am making with all the OCs. Some people have sent in their 'auditions' for it.
I couldn't wait any longer - I HAD to post the first chapter

The beautiful sun set before me. I smiled faintly at it and breathed in the evening air. Up here, way at the top of this cliff, it was refreshing and light. My soul felt cleaner, lighter, just standing here, breathing, watching the sun set a gorgeous orange sherbet color.
But all wonderful things have to come to an end sometime.
The air was suddenly filled with bone-chilling howls. They seemed to soak through my pale skin, down to the very core of my soul. Were these howls from wolves? No. Something much, much worse.
Scared for my life, I turned to run. The only place I could go was the bottom of the cliff. I looked out over the edge. It seemed to go on forever. I couldn't even see the bottom. I turned back, only to see huge monsters emerging from the brush. They were snarling, sticky slobber dropping like rain from their large mouths. Bristly fur covered their entire bodies. There were so many, I could see no escape. I had no chance.
I looked over my shoulder. The heels of my feet were balanced unevenly on the edge of the cliff. For a split second, I considered jumping across to the other side. But the more I thought about it, the more ridiculous it seemed.
I had to think of a way to escape quickly. They were gaining on me. But…it was like they were taking their time. They knew I could not go anywhere. I was trapped.
Not even thinking, not trying to, I turned to face the edge of the cliff. A light breeze blew through the atmosphere, and my hair whipped against my back and face. I took a deep, deep breath and closed my eyes.
One…
Two…
Three…
I jumped.
