Yes, her. Our mayor is a woman.
Anyway, she calls me by my first name because she says it a LOT. Mostly because I'm unpredictable.

I know what you're thinking. "Candy is such a girly name! You don't sound girly at all!"
Well, my name is actually Harricandicu. Does that sound girly? Yes? No? Maybe so? Whatever. I don't really care. I have way worse problems to worry about. Like the fact that I am a mixture of different guilds.
Oh yeah. Forgot to mention that, didn't I? Oops.
Well, where I live, whichever guild you're born in is the guild you stay in. Magic is the most powerful, followed by fire, war, water, beauty, earth, and sky. Each guild has its own marking and features on a person's face and body, such as hair or skin color. I was born into the beauty guild. My marking is permanent makeup and pink skin. I had beautiful features. That means I could manipulate people to do what I want them to, when I want them to, just by looking at them with my evi- I mean, beautiful stare. Could. I, however, am not able to trick people like that. When I was born, I wasn't crying because I was a baby and that was just normal. I was crying because everyone around me in the hospital was screaming bloody murder.
Why, you ask?
Because I was born unpredicted.
Or, as I like to call myself, misunderstood.
I had the makeup and pink skin color of the beauty guild, calm eye shape and green hair color of the earth guild, fiery orange eye color and braided hair style of the fire guild, straight hair of the water guild, long hair of the sky guild, and the clothing style, personality, and fighting skills of the war guild.
Which means that everyone thinks they can't trust themselves to even talk to me.
Except for my best friends, Kyharu Asdi and Onnip Zewri.
Ky is part of the beauty guild with me. He looks like it, though. His hair is dirty blond, and his eyes are a deep violet, just like everyone else in the guild. His family didn't trust me at first, but Ky did. He told his parents how I am, and who I am, and they started to open towards me. Now, they are trying to overthrow the king of our country, or at least talk him into telling the town to trust me, even if it's just a little.
Oni's family, on the other hand, trusted me from the start. They have someone like me in they're family, and that person is Oni's great-great-grandmother. She was the first person in the history of our town to be like me. Oni is in the magic guild, and her family goes way back with magic, even when we didn't have guilds, so she has powers even the king doesn't have.
But even back on the day I was born, December 2nd, 2709, I wasn't in as much trouble as I am now.
